I do when I only play the AI. It's a pretty "relaxing" game, and it's a nice break from the helter, skelter environment of any online game modes.

Havent played anything other then 12 min quarters since 2k10.

They need to add a first step rating. This would limit the turbo driving that plagues 2k. Nothing realistic about every player being able to explode out of a triple threat or stand still dribble and hit turbo speed with one dribble. Or at the very least allow us to take charges like 2k12. That would kill most of the half court turbo spamming. Pip rules is not the answer.

I doubt the commissioner of any lg with pip rules uses a team that doesnt have mid range jump shooters. Ha.

Great game, awesome finish! Nice denial on AD in the final minute as well. Didn't unmute until the very end, but yes Pelicans user, George Hill hitting a 3 is possible, even at the buzzer. Don't blame 2k for that one, just a fortunate play!

It's just a natural thing for me to blame 2k lol. Anyone capable of hitting bs in the NBA. I had a good closeout on it too if I recall.

I tried to adjust sliders to find ways to prevent that, tweaked quickness. That seemed to work. 2K definitely needs to add a first step rating

I like sim too but some of you dudes kill me. On ball 100% of the time? Between the crazy button delay, the horrible help defense, and your cpu teammates not getting back in transition, you will killed every game if you don't play a mix of on ball D and off ball D. And if you're not getting killed, the dudes you are playing are trash, imo.

To play the best D, you need a mix, you have to learn to icon switch on D just like you do on Offense. You gotta know who the bad defenders are on your team and you might have to switch to them to stop somebody off ball......

At the same time, guys who know isomotion, will kill you everytime you just let the cpu guard the ballhandler. You don't even need iso's. Just pushing the post button and having your guy turn his back and then turn back around damn near loses the cpu defender every time, lol.....Thats always worked in 2k, I dunno if people know it. I never use it against the cpu.

I played in one league with 12 minute quarters. The games would drop after halftime or worst of all in the fourth. Never did that again. The most I'll play now is 9 minutes.

You know something? I don't recall that many people (if any) who wants their opponent to play 100% on the ball defense. This is THE BIGGEST misconception of a "sim" player.

All a "sim" player wants is for you to play MOST of your own defense. The people who are frowned upon are those individuals who chase around the least likely offensive threat or plays hot potato on defense.

Truthfully, the type of defense (onball vs offball) you play doesn't make you a sim player. In this scenario, it just defines you as to what type of competitor you are.

And to top it off has anyone watch someone play one way for a whole game and then start cheesing the paint. Because it crunch time.... That what this guy did to me. He would post up.. and then get under the rim. And then pump fake under he got the foul. Turned the whole game around.

I'm most likely going to get booted because of this post. But he didn't want to talk about this publicly in the league. So that's why I'm hear.

You did nothing wrong. This is why I don't agree with some sim rules, people use them as a crutch. His scramble and spam triangle defense was hard to watch....

Hahaha... looking back I'll probably won't let that happen again. Because the guy is bring such an *******. Because he won't admit he was wrong. And that he adapted better then I did smh

One other thing I'd like to add. He is from another country. So everyone that plays him in the league. Plays him with a delay. Not lag. But a delay. He is undefeated. People can't even shoot free throws with 90 rated shooters because the delay is really bad. When I started hitting jumpers because he left players wide open. He seemed pissed that I was able to hit shots. Does anyone find that fishy?

This is why I play mostly park. However, coming from the most Un-sim mode, I'd like to add my 2 cents to what I did experience when I play quick matches.

If you are beating me with stuff I can adjust to, and I'm letting you do it, it's on me.

If you are abusing something that makes a tactic unbeatable, or very hard to deal with without jumping through a ton of hoops. %$#* you.

To me Sim, or just fair play in general is matching up and playing without trying to do BS stuff on purpose. If I can break you off the dribble every time because you're terrible at defense, that's fine. Vice versa is true. I don't feel that's not "Sim", that's taking what you give.

Me hitting Korver and him dropping 40 because you're not realizing he's on fire this game and have done nothing to stop him. That's taking what you're giving.

If I intentionally run the same play because there's a particular fault in the defensive programming that causes the 2 gaurd to always be open, I'm not playing sim. I'm abusing the games programming.

I play the park because I like to replicate good basketball in that setting. It's a fine line because I want outlandish things, but don't want the game to be NBA street.

Should be a streaming rule. If you can't stream a game you can't play in the league. This pretty much eliminates everyone with bad internet.

Oh I agree... But it's his league lol.... I've played someone like that in my old league. But he understood his advantage. He never would drive for a layup unless it was a turnover. This guys seems to take advantage of it.
