Treat it just like when you defend an alley oop pass. When you cut off the reciever of an alley oop pass right before he jumps the pass is errant and goes out of bounds. When a lead pass is thrown in the paint and the defender is on position he should cut it off and the pass should go out of bounds or the defenders should be giving better hands up animations to deflect the pass. A better variety of hands up/slash deflection animations would kill most of the bs paint lead passes. There used to be one animation specifically where a guy with his back turned would run away from the passer with both hands up. That animation would do the trick. Currently when an interior pass is made my defender wont even keep his hands up in a position to deter the pass. On 2k12 i could deflect alot of passes with the right stick. This year that is ALMOST non existent.

I don't know if it is just me... but performance took a huge drop in PC after patch 3 using AMD R9 290. It seems it received a noticable bump for Nvidia cards... but not for mine. It runs much worse than day one with fps drops below 30 when changing cameras

Can you fix where the defense gets back and defend the Hoop after tip off?? I so tired of giving up an automatic 2 points to the center because of this. Might as well just start the game off 2-0.
Pump fakes need to be toned down. Even if you are hold left trigger your man will still jump at times and if it's you and the cpu in the same area the cpu will always jump.
Transition and help defense is still not good. Players are still leaving their assignments for NO reason.
No charge calls.
Hop step layup is a bit too strong especially since we can't draw a charge from it, then add the pump fake to it and it becomes almost indefensible.
No FT interactions.
Ally oops needs to be fixed, not a band aid fix.
We should be able to break out of all canimations including celebrations.
Fix input lag/broken on calling plays. To often I have to push the stick 3 times to get the play called.
Fix stats in pro am.

Clarification, auto play calling for offense does need to be set to manual (not auto) and AI coach adjustments need to be set to Auto and POE to Auto if you want the full effect of freelancing offense continuously ran.
Setting offense playcalling to auto will override the freelance plays as they are from the playbook oppose to freelance ACE settings.
To stay on topic, directional passing is one of my simple imperative hopes to be fixed. The way it is setup now it feels like the CPU intentionally screws you with a foolish pass to the guarded man. This is MYPARK Related stuff
1- Fix the leaderboards im not sure about xbox but on ps4 the second ranked park leader for every park has an outrageous number of losses in each park like 3000 wins, 3000 losses
2- Fix running out of control and almost out of bounds after a rebound is grabbed. (im not sure if this happens on the 3vs3's but it does on the 2vs2's.
3- tone down the moving screens
4-Fix 3 seconds in the paint.. its more like 5 seconds
5- And finally improve the input lagComment

Also, agree on the directional passing. I just made a change from icon passing, and while it feels crisper (obviously cuz it's less inputs to complete a pass), I've had a few "
I clearly wasn't dishing the ball to that dude..." moments. Happens the most when coming off of picks (2K wire cam).

I'm not sure if this is even patchable, but players with the Limitless Range badge should take shots past like 25 feet or so when controlled by the AI. Maybe depending on the level of the badge (Gold = out to 30 or so, Silver = 26-27, Bronze = 24-25).Comment

This is a really small thing, but I would like for the instant replay angles to be the same as they were pre-patches. Before you had free range and could move the camera all the way to court level, but now it's back to 2k15 and before where you can only shift down to eye level. It made for great low angle shots and I would be pleased if it was back. It's also a great asset to mixmakers.Comment

He taking bout the accuracy, I seen freaking JR Smith making passes like this. Passes like does happen in the NBA but only a select few can do it. In NBA2k almost every guard can do it.
OH more video to post Man I love MyCareer. Look at the animation transition of Andre Drummond when he went up for a shot. This type of animation happen alot in MyCareer.

Dude was still in shooting animation then of all sudden went to rebound animation like that. Dude Literally phase through my boxout. If there is a fix for this but I seriousl doubt this can be fix.Comment
