I think I already posted in this thread but damn it I will do it again...

Op is a genius and I would love for all of this to be in future games...Please tell me a dev read some of this. I doubt they even have this type of passion.

Also if we get drafted in the 1st round by a team, we shouldn't be able to be a free agent after 1 season unless you're a second round pick or undrafted.

All rookie 1st round deals are usually 4 years. After that your player should be a RFA (restricted free agent) or you can sign a 1 year qualifying offer to become an UFA the following year.

It was part of the story line. You got waived because of Vic.

That's the problem with MC, storyline. Me, you and every other MC player got waived because of storyline. In the start they made MC go in one way, way Spike Lee envisioned and honestly i'm sick of predetermined storylines and onesided careers.

Yeah I hate that it's unrealistic that after your first year especially after being a 1st round pick you get waived restricted free agency would add a lot to the mode but I think they set it up where you get waived after your first season because of all those people complaining that they aren't happy with the team that drafted them or they like to change uniforms every year. 2k could probably get around that though by letting them ask for a trade in the offseason.

Restricted Free Agency would add more realism to the mode and I'd like to see it a team submits an offer and your team needs to match it but I don't think that 2k would ever add it in the future because people would complain.

I personally like that you get to become a FA pretty quick. That's the type of thing I feel like is cool being unrealistic like in GTA you can run red lights w/ no issues.

If it was realistic, a lot of us would never make it to Free Agency because most people (especially me) wouldn't be able to play 4-5 seasons unless you simmed through seasons. So if 2K actually made the FA period exciting and you actually got recruited like you did for colleges, I would hate to have to wait 4-5 years.

So I say keep it how it is. If you'd like to be realistic about it, just resign back w/ the team that drafted you.

Even that doesn't make sense, because the team that waives you, is the team waiting in season 2 with the biggest offer to sign with them again.

Re: The Next step for MyCareer

They have to let us be rookies again for a full season (and not just for the fact that if I was in the NBA this is the year I'd be drafted since my freshman year would be over). Bring back the 2K11 myplayer feel. The combine games, draft and then summer league was nice and with the way they have summer league in myleague/mygm now it should definitely make a full comeback. It would make more sense to have this added and start me off at 55 instead of me getting drafted in the lottery as a stud all American who's easily the lowest overall in the draft. For now that's all I got but it's a ton much more that can be added in just tired right now lol.

Could a dynamic difficulty setting work in MyCareer?

                      Yes? No?

I think so, but it might be a couple of years away from doing so.

I think the question for 2k is the rate at which your level improves or decreases, and also would the difficulty adjust mid-game or after the game.

I think it would be better to do it after the game or maybe at the end of each quarter. You could say it sort of exists/doesn't depending on who you talk to with the whole cpu comeback thingy but that's another story

I might be the only guy who doesn't want the Olympics but wants to see the FIBA world cup. I think 2k can kinda include it someone on here said that they could alternate them both if the game is released during a year where there's the olympics they could include the olympics and if it's released when FIBA World cup takes place include the FIBA world cup.

I'd like to hear commentary during the draft
                                <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/3Xui0FXZ3X4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
When we get picked I'd like hear the announcers to talk about my future and potential and if I can contribute right away or if our game needs some work and is a couple of years away from having any impact.
