Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
Having a lot of fun playing in My Park. Spanked a team with a 9 game winning streak, both 99 PG's in 2 on 2, 21-5 with my brother-in-law in our first game playing together in weeks. We are rated 88 (me - 6'8 outside SF) and 92 (him - 6'3 outside SG).
The more I play as a 6'8 outside SF, the more I wish that I was an inside SF. I don't have many issues when matched up with small guards offensively, but I have to be very careful going to the hoop because contact really hurts my chances. Then again, that pick and pop in 2 on 2 is so dominant with the smooth midrange!
Looking forward to next year's My Career (really My Park, since I can't stand My Career - zzzzzzzzzzzzzz), we both got a late start on it this year and have been playing catch up. We've put together two 10 game win streaks in 2 on 2. I have a lot of fun playing 3 on 3, but we struggle to find a formidable 3rd.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
No you don't.
Any attempt to go inside with a SF is an instant strip.
You don't even hit your inside shots as an inside player.
Outside SF can sit in one spot and shoot. Oh and dunk.
That's about it.Comment

Any theories on how 2K will improve the Park this year?Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
.
Thinking about going with a 6'5 inside PG in next years version.
I'm sure it has been asked a million times in this thread, call it laziness, but does weight/position play a role in your max speed, or is it strictly height?Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
I think it is purely speculation at this point, I don't believe anything has been realized.
I'm hoping maybe a quick game option, it can be difficult to get on courts and it really is valuable to have a squad together. Would definitely enjoy just being able to play with the click of the button with 6 random people 3v3. Calling moving screens and seconds in the paint is kind of silly in the park, so hopefully these are removed, or maybe the use of a moving screen doesn't work quite as well. A little bit more interaction with players would be fun. Being able to taunt with the D-Pad during a game, like slap the floor or pound your chest at your own leisure would be fun.Comment

Dude, you are the most pessimistic, matter-of-fact character I may have seen in 2k history. 😂I like playing with unselfish, High IQ, and competitive people.

Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
Hopefully they design the parks like last year or 2k14 since I'm positive affiliations are returning. It's still a fun mode I just can't stand how the parks look though. xD
Other than that I was hoping for rec but I'm assuming there will be no return. :/
And get rid of park cards.
Maybe more fast pace? It's cool now but sometimes games can get boring.
And fix that posterizer bs. I still want my dunk packages hahaha.
One thing I loved about 2k14 and 2k15 was how crazy alley oops were. People rarely do them nowadays and it kills me sometimes. :\Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
Not true.
Weight affects post up situations for ex. With my 6'5 230 balanced SG I back down most other guards (because they're much less heavy) easily to get to my spots closer to the basket all the time. </br> Also i think it affects finishing at the rim with a guy on your hip. Not sure, but would make sense and i finish these situations often with a dunk (often with the foul). Could only be the effect of the finisher badge though in that scenario.Comment

And finishing at the rim is just a combination of the dunk/layup rating and animations.Last edited by Man2ManD; 07-22-2016, 09:39 AM.Comment

can this animation not be a thing? It triggers when 0 contact is made with the other player.
it's stupid.
