And finishing at the rim is just a combination of the dunk/layup rating and animations.

You're right, it's the strength attribute. But - I could be wrong - i always thought strength was tied to weight.

I'm going to let you into a little secret now; with 55 speed and lower ball control, centers don't have those abilities. I know you probably heard it on a shake vid so wanted to regurgitate here and that's cool. In 2k15 they did, but not in 16. You know what makes those centers seem like that? Really bad defence.

When I use my center with people I know, then I instantly play PG, because people see the big man and instantly think "strip, strip, steal, steal", so they charge around trying to do that, often in doubles, so all it generally requires is a BtB 3, to take at least one player out of the game. At that point the court opens up and you can create for your shooters, or use the open route to the basket.

When I use any of my other players, you know who causes me zero problems? These magical centers with these crazy handles I keep hearing so much about.

Yes. You play bad park randoms that win 50% of their games.

This is what you're going to see.

Play people that win 90% of their games and you will find centers who can dribble at the level of guards, capable of taking somebody off the dribble because of unnatural dribble moves.

              This is a thing.

I've played 4000 park games. Never have I seen a center with guard handles. Yes I have seen centers drive pass people (bad defense) with slow dribbling moves though. They might can perform dribbling moves but its so slow lol. If a center is crossing anyone over they need to work on their D.

I'm L2 at Flyers, an L1 at Rivet, and just hit AS at Ballers. I don't duck matchups, and I don't reckon I've ever played a center better than me, and not once have I ever met this mythical center I see people talking about. I'm on PS4, so if you provide the gamertags of anyone matching this description, I'll try and play against them and post the vid.

Actually centers can use those size ups . There are no restrictions from them doing so.

Sizeups don't give you guard handles though. Takes a bit more than that.

crossover + quick dunk is what quite powerful with center, but you can also drop the ball on the ground if defender anticipates it.

Some of you guys saying centers have slow dribbles is wrong. The most common one I see from bigs that crossover, I want to say, 11 that LeBron has. It's super quick when they go back and forth.

Yes, they can be stripped easier but bigs definitely can do speedy crossovers. The thing is, all animations like the LeBron one I mentioned shouldn't be the same speed. If your handles are slow like a center and you do that, it should be a lot slower. But honestly, it should be like it used to be. There should be a ratings requirement.

Is that not a travel to dribble after the hop step?

                              Serious question I'm not sure.

                                It's not about Gaurd handles.

The sizeup speed of the animation is the same universally regardless of height, position or ball control.

A Center can zig zag crossover like a made man up court with Crossover 11 and it's more OP than a Gaurd using it because the Centre covers more distance.

I played against a Center in Stage last night who would use crossover 11 to bait me inside to protect the middle then immediately hit Kobe escape and attempt a jumper. He got separation everytime but fortunately for me he clanked all 3 or 4 attempts. *I was using a 6ft7 SF against him.

The point is, what is being discussed here re Centers handling the ball like Gaurds is a valid case. You say you have yet to see one and that's the reality for you but not everyone and no a Center being able to use Gaurd dribble moves does not suddenly insinuate that the defender is bad.

I'm an L3 half way to L4 and while I don't have the gold standard for win% I did start winning 90% of my games once I start grinding for rep and linking with equally competitive hoopers.

Considering the Streaks I go on and the competition I face at stage and YouTubers I subscribe to: I can confidently say 7ft3 Centers have viable success with the dribble moves available to them.

You do realize it's also harder to contest a 7ft 3 player than a 6ft7 right? So if you're a big who knows how to create your own shot: the only thing stopping you is the rim.. it's almost literally between you and the rim.

My big in Park is my SF and fortunately for me it's not Outside Centers who cook me so I'm most confident in my own defense ar the 3. It's tough to find a good 3 who can defend in open space on the perimeter and middy but I'm good mostly due to anticipation and having recognition for the goto moves in each situation. It's the Inside Centers and Inside game that do most damage on me.

I'll be doing great on a streak then suddenly a random 88 Inside Center comes and drops 10+ on my head 😣 but put me against a 99 L3 Faceup C and I can hold my own
