Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
I have a idea I think that would make My Park alot better while still pleasing the masses. It would be cool if they could look at our real life ages and have us submit it to them in like a 2k profile or something. The reason being if you hoop in real life there is no way you would have a 8 or 10 year old running point for you in a pick up game with grown men playing. In the park there is literally no way to tell if your running with a kid who may not know much about basketball if they are not on the mic and you are running with strangers online.
There are adults who have low basketball IQ but I feel like they wouldn't be as much crazy, ridiculous play at the park or pro am walk on at times.
The solution would be when loading into the park, everyone 18 and older would load into there respective parks, while the 17 and younger would do the same. Lets say a kid wants to play with someone 18 or older then they can just do it through the play with friends option to still be able to play with there friends.
The reason I say this is because sometimes you can literally play against these kids who have don't know any better and it can be a mismatch for them or you can be stuck with them and it can kinda mess up the experience. I feel like this help with the competitive balance a bit.
P.S. I like kids and I'm sure some are good at the game just talking about the majority in terms of 2k.Comment

One thing I am starting to realize that it's not necessarily the sim community against arcade nation lol but more so adults who would not mind learning the game as opposed to some kids, not all kids necessarily who just want a easy experience.
Think about it, anybody can complain about the game behind a computer but we don't necessarily know the age of the people doing so. This would make it easier for developers on how to tune the game to appease the masses and the target of there audience they are speaking to.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
I think they should do a true 3vs3 championship , you creating your team and play for the trophy.
Wysłane z mojego LG-H525n przy użyciu Tapatalka2k18 fixes
Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)
Late contest on laups matter too much.
Random blocks doing pumpfakes.
Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
I have a nba 2k15 park flashback feeling now with "new" shooting. As if old deadeye badge back, outside pg's litteraly makes 80-90% of semi contested shot off the dribble , even some fully contested auto-fade animation ones going in now sometime. I don't see any supposed nerf for contested shots at all as well.
Gameplay really boring now, It was so much more fun when shooting was in a harder spot w/o all those green releases.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
I need scripted comebacks and rubberband moments gone from the park completely next year.
Automatic blocks just because someone is in the vicinity needs to go to. Half the time they don't even have to time their jump right to get awarded with a block and the other half of the time they arent even making a play on the ball and still manage to block you.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
Definitely this. Also stupid turnovers. I was playing 2v2 and I was up 17-13 and I said to myself since this is a close game watch somehow I turnover the ball. I got inside the paint and wanted to pass out but somehow my controller ignored this command and I get stripped but get the ball back, I wasn't even under the basket but my player jumps back to throw the ball and it hits the backboard and goes outta bounds. I was laughing because I predicted it. Luckily we still won.
Yesterday, my team as a whole missed one wide open layup, and two wide open mid ranges to win the game. These happened back to back to back to all of us. I couldn't do anything but laugh.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 MyPark Discussion
I know there is not much OS concern here but speed boosting feels nerfed in Park.
I'm comparing Thursday when it felt good and normal to Friday when it felt clunky and nearly voided.
I had a very easy time defending speed boosters Friday - even a 5'7" dude. I could also feel and notice the difference with ball in hand on 2s and 3s compared to Thursday.
I'm now getting a lot more lame cpu assistance that gives cheap bump animations on defense.
We need the Park flare back. Shooting is fine but bring back the flare for flashy dunks, flashy layups, and flashy dribbles.
Friday nights experience was very dull concerning dribble threats. I'm still getting by the defender but it's a brush by / bruise by animation that drags out. I much prefer the high octane juice dribbles that can leave a defender in the dust and really keep you on your toes.
Speed boosting is at home in Park.
