Would you rather have a great-playing game with the wrong colors?

Or a color-accurate game that played like ****?

That said, don't brag about "arena authenticity" when you don't have it.

I'm not talking about the crowd being on their feet the whole game. I'm saying the crowds get loud more than you think. You make it sound like it rarely happens outside of big games when there's evidence/history to suggest that it happens often.

Hell, I can run off 10-15 instances of when the crowd gets hype during the regular season and out of that number, the 2K crowd will get hype for maybe 5-7 of those instances, lol.

You are arguing a point that I'm not making though. I'm not saying the crowd shouldnt get loud at all during the regular season. I'm not even arguing that 2k gets it right. I'm saying that Live does it better but its not perfect. Perfection to me is in between Live and 2k. Its a system that recognizes when a big play occurs and responds accordingly.

I dont want the crowd going wild if I do a breakaway dunk with George if the Pacers are down by 20 in the third. I dont want a loud defense chant in Charlotte in the 2nd quarter of a game versus the Magic when I know in real life Charlotte crowds arent that active.

For the sake of argument, I'd like to see THOSE 10-15 instances of the crowd getting LOUD during the regular season (in mid-lower level games). I'm not talking about the 4th quarter of a close game (no matter the level of the game) and I'm not talking about the home team making a big play during a run.

This looks and sounds amazing. I remember when NBA Live made a huge focus on this back in 2015 I believe it was and I found myself playing Live 15 at times just for the amazing atmosphere and realistic looking courts.

I am hoping that 2K can come close to that. It was so cool to play in that atmosphere. It felt real.

Is it 9/16 yet!?

When they're streaming their broadcast in an hour or so. We should all ask the same question about the Bucks & Knicks court if they're taking questions. They'll have to answer it lol

90% is something to brag about though, right? Some of the colors are off. Some of the lighting is off. But most of their arenas are spot on. Authenticity doesnt have to equal perfection. With that said, I want them to fix the issues too

So 2k releases a trailer about Arena sounds. This marketing is questionable as hell. Im not buying a game because the nets and the crowds sound good. Someone in 2k's marketing team needs to be fired for this tom foolery of a trailer

Please be easy on me if this has been asked (28 pages is a lot to read through), but how do dunks sound this year? Less like a trash compactor?

I admire 2K's cross-country audio effort, and those additions sound really cool, but I feel like some of their biggest audio issues could have been addressed in-house.

Nobody knows trailer never really showcased it. It would be funny that they recorded the ball sounds but not the rim/dunk sounds.

I believe one of my original posts mention big games and 4th quarters. Those were the only qualifiers.

Wow, so there's no arena specific lighting in this year's game? I could have sworn that was confirmed.
