Re: NBA 2K17 Arena Authenticity Trailer
Of course I read, even though it's the same exact thing you've been saying on an almost regular basis for the last 2-3 years.
-You love the NBA(we all do otherwise we wouldn't be posting here)
-You love art such as uni colors, skin tones and court(Lord know you've made that known for a while now)
-You think the Art Team is either lazy or don't care about correcting a simple issue and it bothers you. Especially when it's about YOUR team.
But yet you keep giving them your money even though your beefs are still there, lol. You've made it known that you've sent them emails, DMs, comments on here, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and are still being ignored.
If that was happening to my team, I'd either wait for a patch to come out and see if it corrected the issue and if it didn't, just skip out on it until it got corrected.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NBA 2K17 Arena Authenticity Trailer
As a Heat season ticket holder, I can pretty much see everyone across from me in their seats, specifically the entire 100's section. Even up to the nosebleeds, while those do get a little darker, they aren't completely blacked out.
In 2k17, all arena's get too dark from about halfway up the 100's section. Very good example is the shot of Philly's crowd in this trailer. This is NOT how 27 of the 30 (Lakers differ from Clippers) arenas are in real life.
The one's that are darker, Barclays, MSG, and Lakers' Staples (NOT for Clippers) are blacked out pretty much from row 4 and up.
Again, even if it's brief, could you offer clarification on what the team means by arena specific lighting. We see what the audio team did, and other than each arena having the same voice actor doing the PA, it's incredible. We are just all hoping and wishing that the visuals would match up to create a truly authentic arena experience.
Thank you for all your efforts in communicating with us and the rest of the community! It is appreciated.Die hard Heat and Dolphins fan since '89

Glad to see a response. I had a feeling that the NBA would have some approval over this.

It's a pet peeve of mine. It's almost as bad as those ridiculously silly "This is not mine - I don't claim ownership" copyright disclaimers on youtube videos which clearly infringe an author's rights.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Arena Authenticity Trailer
SMH...I have never seen such nit picking in my life. I'm really trying to figure if I have low expectations, or just want to complain about something.
I'm listening to the trailer on my Xbox on XB1 headphones via the YouTube application, and I definitely can hear the differences. It's night and day to me. I choose to watch the video trailer on this matter, because it's how I'm going to play the game.
I can hear there differences in the net sounds.... regular shot going in versus one where it "rips" the net.
I can hear the differences in the sounds when the ball interacts with basket. There are TWO sounds when it hits the backboard and then the rim.
Obviously, there was the different sounds when the ball hits the court.
For same arenas, I could hear the differences acoustic differences between the crowds. Some crowds sounded "clearer" and some sounded more "muffled".
Different PA announcers....
Different horn sounds....
I'm impressed personally, but some people seem like they just like to complain about something. I'm about to fire up NBA 2K16 to really compare now.Comment
