To shoot 65% with a small forward what archetype does that make you. My sharp shooter post patch is hitting about 45% of his shots and 38% of threes (on pretty good releases as I've practiced a lot). Maybe they should patch your character...maybe they will now that you've said this.

Point is, stop complaining about everything that goes against you. That's how his game terms into 2k constantly tuning and Nerfing every aspect of the game. Should sharp shooters make half court shots, no, but you also
Shouldn't be shooting 65% with anything if we want to talk realism. I'm not advocating for a nerf of anything minus Nerfing all the complainers, I'd love to see that in the next update

First of all, I never mentioned any problem with "guarding" a sharpshooter. They aren't "hard" to guard. They do make difficult shots, but they're not hard to guard, considering they can only do a few things.

You must not play as much as me to know to see sharpshooters constantly making halfcourt shots. That's not my fault.

Next, I am a SF 6'8 point forward. Just because I have a high field goal percentage doesn't mean that they should...patch me lmao. Having a high field goal percentage can come with simply only shooting a few times and making them all or 3/4. I don't mind them patching a "point forward", Nothing that is too OP.

And What my original post mentioned, was that I am not " complaining" yet, simply commenting on what I have noticed while playing the game for a loooooong time. Once again, to shoot 65% doesn't mean that it should be patched lmao. I choose my shots wisely and only shoot when I am Wide open at the 3, or have a "baby" on me trying to guard me in the paint 1v1 or when I beat a defender down the court or get an easy fastbreak.

I will say it again, I am not complaining. I am adressing issues I have noticed while playing park for many hours everyday

I'm assuming these last few posts are taking into account the latest update? Or has it not gone live yet?

Is there anything lamer in park than having 2 teammates with brick wall set a double screen at the 3 point line and their sharpshooter zigzagging back and forth behind them until it procs and you get knocked over?

Least skillful thing I have ever seen.

I was in the park all day yesterday. I dont have a problem with how its playing right now. Sharpshooters are still deadly if you know how to shoot with your myplayer but there high percentage is toned down, especially if you're play great D. Im a playmaker, i can't hit 3s consistent like that but with me taking good shots im still shooting a good percentage by taking open 3s and good mid range shots. I like the different archetypes, it makes you play different against certain style match ups. The only problem i got with 2k in the park is that I think the defense took a step back this year. They need to improve the defense just a lil. I think everybody should be able to max there defense. Last thing, I think 2k should make the park difficulty sliders superstar sim.

FWIW, the half court boundary is closer in 17 than it is in 16.

A half court shot in 16 is at about where your own 3pt line is in 17 and I have yet to see anyone make a 3 from there in Park 17, let alone attempt it. I could make 3s from Half Court with balanced players in 16 (how soon we forget we forget) 😁

Curry is making some good 3s on me on Pro difficulty in Career and the Sharpshooters have his ability plus better badges. I feel they are justified to pull up from the half court mark whenever they please and with confidence if open. Curry is nailing them in my face within 5 ft of separation if he sees I don't crowd him. He will pull up quick off the screen too like Sharpshooters try to do.

Is Curry emulating Park players or are we emulating him lol the constant greens is a separate topic that can address itself without a debate. When these 55 < rated 3pt rating players start greening ya we have a serious problem lol

Teams used these same lineups in Park 16

Glass Cleaners specialize in Brick Wall screens. It's smart to build a lineup that plays to your strengths. These the cards we been dealt man,, play your hand well.

You expect the Glass Cleaner to post up and the other camp in the Corner? Wait for the Sharpshooter to blow past his man like a Playmaker and dime one of them up? Come on man lol

2k Squeezed us into this position, they the one controlling the deck.

A lot of people are having a hard time with this. Using "cards" is a perfect line because you really do have to pay attention to what the teams "hand" is and how you're going to counter it.

Every Archetype is OP in something - but you can counter it and use your OP skill.

I blame the game for people not understanding it. There's almost zero info about it in the game (most people won't bother searching online).

I wouldn't mind if people on the same teams all had little Icons next to us that revealed our Archetype to our teammates, so randoms could strategize better.

Just started mypark . I'm a 90 playmaker with most of my badges unlocked. It's impossible to play with randoms. I don't care if we lose, as long as there is teamwork and we work towards improving.

This is so true. It's very frustrating having pick dodger and see double screens at the top of the key. That's when you really gotta use mic's and communicate. I have a good squad currently and we call out when we see a screen and, we'll switch on screens.

Communicating helps a lot if ya switch and step up on screens.

Smh went up against a stretch center yesterday on the 2v2 courts and this dude hit every single 3 he took. I swear I wanted to toss my controller at the screen. He even had the 3 pointer emblem beside his name. Didn't help that I decided to team up with a random rookie 1. Its like I was setting myself up for failure.
I'm pretty sure that center was the main reason him & his partner managed to go on a 37 game winstreak.

Its because random rookies joining to play them. Most competative players are into 3v3 games (or pro am). Only time I playe 2v2 is while waiting for 3rd buddy to finish his mc game and we manage to rack some 10-15 winstreak quickly due to low ovr people swarming got next spots.

2 Vs 2 is garbage. Should be called Cheese vs Cheese Make a sharp shooter and stretch big call it a day

I played this one to many times. Waste of a time if you dont have have the only 2 builds that dominate in this.

I prefer 3v3 and Pro-Am, but I enjoy 2v2 when I'm paired with someone good.

                                Two tips:
                                - Be Patient! You might go down 0-20 before you get the ball, but you can still win. I see people get too discouraged when they're only down 12-0, that doesn't mean anything in 2v2.

                                - Learn to guard the 3. The best advice on stopping Shooters:

I found that trying to quit holding turbo unless it's needed is hard, but necessary for this.
