I'm a little mad about missing the Park's Mountain Dew Tourney Event. Yesterday I spent so much time playing the game The Escapists and this game is ULTRA addictive. Can't stop playing it. It's currently free on Xb1 btw.Comment

Oh no. It's a game called The Escapists. It's currently free on XB1. Check it out if you haven't yet! But I'm warning you, you'll never stop playing. I feel quite bad about this since I haven't been playing 2K17's park. Haven't give an update on my record and how I'm doing in a few days, so here we go!
My record is roughly 760-224. I am currently at 80% and plan to get the rest today or tomorrow. I have three players currently. A Point forward, LDD, and Glass cleaner( in the works). I decided to be an idiot and equip park dunks a few weeks ago, and can't remove them on my point forward. I found a glitch? on youtube to remove them. What you do is go into the park, abandon your park and rejoin it. I have found that this sorta works. I am still seeing the park dunks, but I am also seeing less of them. I risked my AS4 to remove park dunks and luckily abandoning and rejoining didn't delete my rep and record. According to the glitch, it wouldn't.
Anyways, I predict I'll be AS5 Today or tomorrow.
I predict i'll be SUPERSTAR 1 by November 2nd-6th.

If theres two centers, one is 7'1 250 lbs and the other is 7'0 300lbs. Which one would 2k put at the center position?

Mountain Dew thing was fun, but I didn't even know it was happening until it had 20minutes left.
I don't like that it's so cumulative. I feel like the best 2k players aren't necessarily the best at the game, but the best at spending 24/7 playing it.
Why not do something that caters more to the casual players? I play a lot, but I still feel like I'm waaaay behind and will never catch up or have time to enjoy a lot of these things.Comment

Agreed.
It rewards people who can sit up and play the game for an ungodly amount of time instead of basing it off statistical averages like the NBA.
If it was based on the latter I'd probably be ranked.Comment

Gary and Montana, yall are mistaken.
The top leaders are there for time, grade and court wager.
You can play for more Dew Points on the highest stages and risk more tokens or you can be cheap and risk 1 token for 200 points.
It's not enough to simply be on for the slotted duration of the tournament. 1 loss on the 8 token court can ruin your chances of reaching top 100.
I'd say it's more about how well you and your teammates managed their time. The event also took place on a Sunday I think? That's a day most are available.
I find it cheap to be devaluing the value of the leader board standings by simply status their no lifers lol. I saw a lot of names in the top 100 I never knew or heard of.
I was on from about 1:30p to 4:30p ET and net 3,000 something Dew Points but we only worked the 200 dew points court and finished 14 - 4. To be more efficient we'd have to not only win on the higher wager courts but also win with great grades (A- or better) and blow out teams.
From my experience it's fair to say these leaders know how to succeed at this game of Park. Call them cheesy but that's another topic lol.
