So tired of stretch bigs, just played one game against playmaker anf stretch big, he hit 4 consecutive treys, its shame that stretch big have 5x better three pointer than my pg slasher. Its like saying Draymond Green three is 5x better than Lillards..joke

Park is just not fun anymore. Seems to be getting worse every year.

It's a mixture of gameplay and design.
Here's some of my issues with park now.


GAMEPLAY

- No moving screens called. This is how people score 75% of the time in the park and they think that they are good.

- Feels so slow paced. I miss the fast paced action in the park.

- Sluggish movement: what happened to the movement pre-patch???

- Defense is trash. Maybe it's because our defense attributes cap at 70 something. Tired of trash players getting bailed out, though.

Design

- Okay so I understand that the design of parks doesn't matter to some of y'all. I get it. But, I dislike the fact that we use the same courts as last year. Also that Rival Day and House rules have the same park. Stage the same from last year too. SMH

I highly doubt that they will go out and change these designs this year.. Hopefully next year it's different.

A couple of more things I want to say:

Forget 4s. 5s all day.
Grind is too long. Should've left them at 3 levels per tier.
The grind definetly isn't as fun as it was in 15.
These signature introduction are too long. I prefer the ones from 14/15. More straight to the point haha.

I miss the flames that came out the ball when you dribbled, dunk and shot the ball hahaha.

I do however dig the clothes this year. A lot >_> <_<

Hopefully Scoffin or someone from 2k sees this. Preferably Scoffin. \_o_/

Something else I just thought about. Maybe it's a little bit of the archetypes that's making park a little boring too. Sometimes (keyword sometimes) I miss just being able to go out and do everything. I'm sure some people here feel the same way too. We just want to go out to the park and go crazy.

I love archetypes. I really do. But I hate making 6 MyPlayers with different archetypes. Just because I want to do something on one myplayer that I can't with my other. It's annoying.I miss just making one that can do everything.

I was just playing in the park moments ago and the speed was MAXIMUM fast. The game was on STEROIDS. Is this happening to anyone else right now? Did 2K change the Park's speed for Halloween week or something? The speed is blazzzzzzing fast.

Update: I just played in the park again and everything is back to normal. The speed is normal again. I guess I was experiencing a bug earlier when games were running blazing fast.

19-19 , my defender leaves me open. my player had Microwave activated, and shoots, Hof catch and shoot, hof corner specialist off hof dimer... For game point.... Brick opponent gets the rebound sprints up half court and jacks a 3... Game. This game is just laughable.

Just got back home and played a park game to see if the speed was still blazing fast and suddenly the speed is back to normal. No more super fast speed. It must of been some kind of bug in my game earlier when everything in the park was super fast.

This happens to me sometimes too... where I just feel way faster than usual.

Could it be that we're still hot from a previous game (does this stuff carry over?) and we're getting some kind of boost?

Or maybe the people defending us have low defensive attributes/bad defense, so we've got more freedom of movement on the court?

I understand what you mean. But I definitely believe it was a bug. The game was playing like NBA JAM. This is how fast the speed was, even the animations (off and on court) were super fast like this --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPzeaUCm0A4
During this strange experience there was no background music in the park. Just sound effects.
