What's better to create, a SG slasher or SF slasher? I'd think a SG slasher (like 6"6) would be a little faster, get the acrobat badge, maybe better dribbling/shooting? And the SF would be better near the basket for rebounding, blocks and he'd have the big dunk package. What position would be better and am i forgetting something?

Re: NBA 2k17 - MyPark
Thought I'd drop another update.
I am currently SS2 68%. I can't believe I am only 32% away from MASCOTS!! It's gonna be so lit having a huge mascot as a lockdown defender haha. Anyways, My record stands as 2197-505. I have been trying to play more pro-am but its so complicated getting matched up with a bunch of low iQ players, which then force me to take an L. This morning I played a pro-am game before school and I was put at the Power forward position with my 6'6 SG. I ended up scoring 35 points. There was a dude on the other team who put up 61 points.. Yes, he was a sharpshooter... Now the correct thing to do in that position, is to switch the matchup... but many point guards out there don't know how to do that. If I was put on the sharpshooter, he wouldn't have scored more then 20.
Speaking of sharpshooters,
I played multiple games this morning in walk-on and since i was the shortest person on my team (6'6) They put me at the point guard position. I was checking a 6'2 sharpshooter at the PG position. 2 glass cleaners kept setting screens on me to get him open with the ball. He got two quick 3s on me, then I decided to change my defense on him. I pressed him, all the way up the court, so instead of him going around screens, and forcing me to go under, over, or through, I made sure he didn't even make it past half court with the ball. It worked perfectly and he ended with 6 points, like 4 assists, 3 fouls and 7, yes, SEVEN, turnovers. He almost got graded out with an F. I took this game personally out of how much I HATE sharpshooters, and this dude took the time to make a speed boosting sharpshooter, so therefore, I was gonna do all in my ability to make sure he suffered the wrath of being guarded by a lockdown defender (AKA. CLAMPGOD)
One last thing, There is another lockdown defender montage pt.2 on my youtube page, not sure if I said that on here yet. I do plan on making another one, and I plan on releasing game footage with commentary on this grind to SS3!My Players:
6'6 SG 94 Overall Slashing Defender
6'5 SG 90 Overall Pure Sharpshooter
6'8 SF 81 Overall Two-Way Slasher
Active Daily on 2K, I play 2s, 3s & Walk-on.
If you're active and would like to run Park or Walk-on Shoot me a PSN Message and we can get some games in.

Re: NBA 2k17 - MyPark
What i have learned is that if you are wondering if that random on the got next spot is good or awful have a look at their record. I played with this Superstar 1 who only zig zagged behind screens and was allergic to passing. His record was something like 500-900.Comment

Re: NBA 2k17 - MyPark
Anyone get their VC for this past weekend's rival day? When does 2K usually award players for that? And where do we claim it?

Re: NBA 2k17 - MyPark
What is the best technique to defend this zig zag cheese?!?
Do I have to be a 5'7 LDD with boosted defence to stay with these guys?
Park is by far my favorite mode to play as I like going up against other users' created players but it has been unbearable lately.
I don't know if these guys want to play ball or want to break dance all game.Comment

2k14 was perfect, 2k15 was when it started getting corny but your myplayers attributes were still high enough for people who play the game like a normal person to beat the weirdos. park on 2k16 and 2k17 are unplayable.PSN: PrettyToneyComment

Re: NBA 2k17 - MyPark
I'm not a huge park guy (current record something like 170-100)
yesterday I went in the park alone as I like to do sometimes (you know, the thrill of not having your friends backing you up).
As I do in these cases, I looked for someone with a positive record (no matter the rep) to form a team.
I found two guys and they accepted my invite despite their rep was much higher than mine (ss 1 and all star 5 while I'm all star 1).
Guess what? They were exactly the perfect example of zig-zag guys: both were pg, lot of dribbling, step backs 3s, unstoppable drives, etc.
Usually I do hate those guys when I face them, but I must confess that it was weird to be "on the other side", having them in my team.Comment

Re: NBA 2k17 - MyPark
Luckly in my case neither of them was so terrible.
Clearly there was a lot of iso and dribbling on offense, but at least they shared a little bit the ball, especially after I earned "their trust" with some good offensive plays in the first games.
They were also pretty good on defense, they didn't lost their man on regular basis and understood switching and rotations even if we didn't talk on the mic.
At the end of the day I had a nice streak of 11 Ws with them, that is not bad.Comment

NBA 2k17 - MyPark
Had to bring this baby back to say that I got park bully [emoji1487]
No idea what it takes to get tbh but I did get it after I had a 6 Reb 3offensive game with a HUGE chase down block.
I have 1237 career Reb and 106 steals and blocks in the park

Park bully is from 80-150 blocks in the park. I have yet to understand what it does though....Comment
