Or Athletic Finisher. If you look at the stats chart, both are pretty equal..

Why take down a demo? Like serious 2k, what does it matter people in US want to play it early, it's a freaking demo....Comment

Considering the face scan issues people were having, things might not have been fully up and running yetComment

Cant turn tips off.
Not Coach K's voice...at all...don't think its supposed to be.
Gameplay has improvements and tweaks...but in this state, way over hyped. Button vs stick seems to have no tangible difference, fighting for rebound feels same, seen warping. Dribbling is more responsive and looks more natural when getting past defenders and overall in general...but in no way is it 1:1. Was restricted with mysterious in and outs and half-spins when trying to do a crossover a few times.
New camera called 'Winners Win'. Sort of an iso-angled/broadcast hybrid with a hig zoom to show detail.
It really has to come down to how it is balanced online with the gameplay, because this gameplay is solid and better, but underwhelming.Comment

Only thing I like better so far is being able to do layups more consistently and like this shot meter better than last year. Other than that, pretty underwhelming.Comment

Playing the prelude currently, it must be a bug because I can't sprint at all without the ball.
Makes the defensive game pretty difficult when you can't chase anybody around the floorComment

I feel like im playing nba 2k16 really with better transistion and dribbling , rebounding looks the same but rotation is still off.Last edited by Thetruth9012; 09-08-2016, 02:13 PM.2k18 fixes
Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)
Late contest on laups matter too much.
Random blocks doing pumpfakes.
Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.Comment

Yeah I almost see no difference either myself. Tall players still out rebound everyone just because they are taller and longer arms (rebounding stat useless again) and shot stick doesn't really do much if any difference.

They have played and are simply giving their opinions. Why deny them the right to an opinion if it doesn't matches yours?Comment

Pros :
Audio, sound fx, athmosphere of theses college games were really good. Doesn't sound as deep as a live 10 but still really good.
Ball/rim interaction look and sound a lot more realistic. You feel the weight of the ball bouncing on the rim. You get some new and really good looking half in and out ball animations that looks great.
Seemless transitions between moving and shooting. It's very fluid.
Responsiveness/input lag and player movement a major improvement from 16 on both ends. The whole thing just looks a lot more fluid and lifelike.
Loving the timing on hook shots and layups. You can really hang in the air with the ball and release when you decide. You feel a lot more in control instead of just watching the animation playout.
Difficulty is definately very low but you can really create shots in small spaces and the pullups seem pretty reliable. That brings back that 2K11 vibe.
While defending the P'n'R you canno't cheat as much as you could before, the AI will not take the screen and attack/or shoot the other side if you do. Pretty cool and human like.
Cons :
The overhead skip passes are awfully slow. Need to speed em up or ditch em. I also dislike that they still have thoses instances where a random pass triggers when you wanted something else. They really need to remove that thing. If you press the bounce pass button it has to be a bounce pass 100% of the time.
The skinny, muscle less arms, ill looking bodytypes are just bad. I'am sorry 2K but with the exception of Ingram and probably a few others nobody looks like that.
Still some passes that go through bodies.
There is a lot more of pros and cons most likely (you can't figure out the whole game in one hour of play) but that's on the top of my head. Overall I'am sold on the game. Feels very different in a good way and as barebones as it was (no plays, no idea who you're playing with etc) it was pretty fun. The two biggest things that makes a huge difference for me is responsiveness and how the game sounds.Last edited by Vni; 09-08-2016, 02:32 PM.Comment
