MyCareer has been it's most challenging on HOF for me with the recent tweaks and I actually like it. I haven't played online since then to say about that but I'm getting realistic scores and having close battles every game (though we keep losing).
It very much comes down to the Josh Smith factor though. They nailed how he was in reality in that instead of rolling to the rim, 90% of the time he'll just fade back and miss a wide open 3. James Harden has also gotten worse and missed a wide open 3 to win the game against the Spurs but it seems like he's on a cold streak. I can barely hit jump shots to save my life but it's lead to me finding other ways to score as a playmaker PG. Part of me wants to ask for a trade because there's no chance that this team (20-22) is going to go far in the Playoffs and there's a chance we might not even make the Playoffs but part of me also wants to stick it out and see if anything happens trade wise. Usually in MyCareers, once you get to a certain level you can carry your team that this is never a worry unless the AI really messes up your team but with the way I play (trying to be realistic and not just take every shot), I feel like I'm in a real life situation of being on a team that's struggling and not clicking. Really it's a self destruction but there's still time to turn things around.
