i went back to my other career no fun to level up the new guy again!

in this career i won the title with the Pelicans in my first season than went to Orland Magic with Justice we won 70 Games and Lost one against Minnesota
i´m at 2209 rebounds now with 11 games to go after 2077 rebounds in my first season also i did 443 Blocks so far and 474 Blocks in my first season
all done on hall of fame 10 minutes quarters

and my Glass Cleaner can shoot some wide open 3´s my 3 point percentage is 20% over the season with 58 3point attribute and boost to 63 and i think when you are hot this gets you also a boost in scoring i use Justice Youngs jump shot and sometimes i can get a green release

This guy rebounds better than the US economy :-)

Does it annoy anyone else that they haven't fixed the MyCareer draft. My MyPlayer went number 2 and so did Brandm Ingram. The draft should change based on when the MyPlayer is drafted.

Also, it's annoying how they force you into the "Orange Juice" story even if you get traded alone your rookie season. There's no orange, it's just juice. It's me. I got the juice.

Is there some story-based reason that you are a 1st round draft pick (and I'm assuming 90% of us are going at LEAST top 15) and only have a 1 year contract?

Meanwhile Justice has essentially a 4 year contract as an undrafted rookie.

I know they probably just want to give people a chance to hit free agency early on since most people aren't going to play enough seasons to get there organically. But that's not how the NBA works. Is there any sort of explanation later on in the story or am I just supposed to be completely in the dark why my player has no financial security lol.

I know they probably just want to give people a chance to hit free agency early on since most people aren't going to play enough seasons to get there organically. But that's not how the NBA works. To give people control once the story is done. Nobody wants to be stuck on the Nets for 2 years and then get their option picked up. Say your favorite team is the Bulls and you want to help Wade win another Ring before he retires, with a realistic contract that isn't possible. It just gives the player more control over their story.

What difficulty are you guys playing on to make it challenging but still fun?

I'm set to Allstar and barely pulled out wins a couple college games with my 6-8 200lb point forward.

Drafted 8th overall with the Kings, who are just awful without Cousins. Got beat by Suns and then blown out by Spurs! Scored zero points in first game, then 14pts against the Spurs. 87ovr now as I did spend money to start lol

I started on all star with my main my career player, while he was still a lower overall. Once he hit like 90 and I started dominating games I went to superstar.

Started off great with the Thunder in my 2nd season after leaving the Bucks in free agency. Went 8-0 before losing at home to the Kings (with Cousins but still...). I like playing on the Thunder as a point forward SF but wow does Westbrook brick a lot of shots. Oladipo is a complete non factor on offense as well, but Kanter and Adams grabs all the boards. Think we'll get the title quite easily as there are no standout teams in the league, and we've already beaten Warriors (without KD and Steph) and Spurs. It's a noteable difference in the difficulty going from superstar to HoF, but the only difference being that the CPU hits impossible shots at a decent rate. I have no problems at all racking up stats but the CPU sure knows how to cheese on HoF.

Other than that I have no idea how to get hustle rebounder or HoF ankle breaker and dimer. I guess I just have to keep grinding but it's taking forever.

2K tried its best to cheese me out of this one.

I won MVP at the end of season 3 and I've just finished game 2 of the first round with this monster game. I scored 38 in the second half after a passive first where I spent all of my time out on the perimeter. With the Raptors up as high as 14 in the third quarter I worked on getting inside and eventually Valanciunas fouled out, leaving the paint pretty open despite Poeltl trying his best. I must have scored nearly 30 of my points in the 4th quarter, hitting from everywhere. My 3 ball has improved dramatically since I started using the Klay Thompson shot. That boy is smooth, putting it on fast using the shot creator is auto buckets, even as a point forward with a 70 three rating on HoF.

Have been doing better at keeping turnovers down since becoming a starter. I think I'm around 3 mostly passed to unintended targets. I didn't check but I think since becoming starter I'm averaging 16 points, 10 assists, 5 rebs, and 1.5 steals.
Justice has been a disappointment this year. Despite his ratings he can't really make shots consistently. So I unless I'm able to get trade to 76ers this season, we will part at end of season.
Got microwave and PnR Maestro badge recently. That badge helps keep turnovers down. I think I'm 2-4 games away from Ankle breaker badge. I think I'm around 180 assists and most of them came from off of double move and scored around 5-10 buckets off of double move. That's the badge I want the most besides Dimer

The story aspect has become so tedious to me. The text messages, the forced cut scenes. Orange Juice. I'm not even a big fan of the practice aspect. I wish there's was like a MYCareer light version. Something similar to 2K10-2K11. I just wanna play games and build my guy up and keep up with league stats and news. Also wish they went back to skill points, and allow me to put points where I want in individual attributes. Don't really care about the park or anything.

made a 6'9 pf post scorer(Karl Malone) got drafted by lakers but dont know if its a good size or i should of made a center instead

i made a pg playmaker 6.4 who can do a little of everything but iam 5.7 and this arquethipe with llong wingspans is pretty unrealistic, so i decide make with the new roster a pg 6.2 shot creator because i want a kirye build with these game changer badges to upgrade. drafted by the lakers, planinig to leave justice in free agency to the celtics and make a rivaliary( if you dont defend justice in pres conference after the first season justice staw on the team anf you can go alone)

Any way to NOT play with Justice? Too cheesy playing with a Hollywood actor who becomes all world NBA talent along with me. I want this mode to be challenging. I just beat the Spurs 116-88 on Allstar and my stat line was 26pts 4reb 3ast

Anyways I wanna get off his team and play against him. Think I will bump up to Superstar too for a while. What did you guys do? Can we not have to play with him? Force my team to trade him would be great.

Have you tried playerlock in myLeague yet? It's a whole different game but you progress naturally and can make up your own story as you go. Also no tedious "picking up the bag and going to practice animation". You should try it out. There's a thread about it on OS as well. Including a tutorial vid on page 4 or so.
