Just had my 2012 Game 6 LeBron moment. I had 13 in the first but only took one missed shot in the 2nd and at one point in the 3rd the Knicks led by 11 and I had 4 fouls. So I put the team on my back, driving aggressively every time I had the ball and looking for easy buckets inside for my team mates. Set a new career high for points and most importantly, stopped the team from being on a 3 game slide after a good start to the year.

We iced Melo in the 4th quarter, and he ended 12-32 and 27 points, settling for contested jumpers and only getting to the line for 4 free throws all game.

Followed that up with a 38/22/10 game with 8 blocks. That's a career high in rebounds but we couldn't win because LeBron went 1-9 from 3 while Barea went 1-9 from the field. We're missing Kyrie right now, the threat he poses is huge.

Like I said before, I plan on creating a new career after the trade deadline. I want to make sure that I'm playing with my career is up to date and league reflects real life. Like my PF career was started before season so even though I like it, it is different without player movement and rating differences. So if I start one after trade deadline/roster update, the league will reflect real life. Only thing will be no rating changes, but in last couple months how different do players change.
I will create a 6'4 Playmaking PG. I haven't played in a while. But I have used myNBA2k app. I have over 46k VC saved up. I will use that to boost Playmaking and Athlete to start. My goal is to be drafted by the Kings

Due to the Kings trade, that isn't the team I hope to be drafted too. New Orleans is definitely a top choice. Both Boogie and AD will demand double teams.Justice will get a lot of open looks.
My main goal is to with a team with good front court and 3 point shooters on wing

On my first season as a point forward for the Bucks, and things are going well. Playing on superstar difficulty, our record was 62-20 which was the best in the entire NBA (Warriors had 61-21). However, it's been a pretty boring season as I hate playing with Justice since he's too good (and not real ffs!), and the fact that since I'm a small forward, Giannis get very limited minutes. Therefore I will leave after the season and avoid Justice, no idea where I'll aim but obviously a team weak in the SF position not to disrupt the team too much.
Anyway, easing through the playoffs where we swept the Wizards in the 1st round, swept the Bulls in the 2nd and won 4-1 against the Raptors in the conference finals. The Cavs went out in the 1st round to the Hawks, and the Warriors almost were eliminated against the Pelicans but won game 7 and they are now in the finals.

The first 2 games were at home and won those pretty comfortable, but I knew that the first game at the Oracle would be much tougher. The Warriors seem to always start out hot and are usually up by around 10 points somewhere in the 2nd, as was the case in game 3 as well. Managed to cut it down to 4 with about 6 minutes left of the 2nd quarter and was then subbed out. When I was subbed back in 50 secs from the half, the Warriors were up 18... In the second half I had to do pretty much everything and managed to cut the lead down and eventually go ahead, but they just kept making incredible shots so it was close. At the end we (I) managed to close the game out so that series is all but over. I ended with 39 points, 14 assists and 21 rebounds (with 1 steal 1 block 1 turnover) in 9 minute quarters.

So hopefully only 1 game left but I have a feeling we'll lose the next one. Honestly just want to finish the season and leave the Bucks to get a fresh start. I will also, starting from next season change it up to HOF difficulty and play 10 minute quarters.

What would you guys say is the best difficulty to play with a lockdown defender PF?

Won the 4th game against the Warriors with 40 points. Justice left for the Lakers and I opted to join Westbrook and the Thunder. The Warriors got completely torn apart as both Curry and Durant left. Curry went to the Hawks (the f*ck?) and Durant to the Nuggets (seriously 2k?). Therefore there are no superteams around and the most stacked is probably the Clippers as they 'only' lost Redick and the Cavs who only lost JR.

In other trade news Millsap left for the 76ers (making the Hawks even worse for Steph), but other than that no major changes. I have now changed to 10 minute quarters and HoF difficulty, and decided to splash a bit of my saved VC to jump to an 88 overall rating.

One thing I have to say though regarding VC is I didn't get any extra for winning the championship, which I think is complete bull**** from 2K. I at least expected like a 5000 VC bonus or something.

How come with the sneaker contracts in MyCareer, sometimes you get the shoes for free and others you have to pay for them? I just started a new career and I signed with Nike, and I have to pay for a all the shoes. In my last Career, I signed with Nike and didn't have to pay for any of the sneakers.

If I remember correctly...higher draft picks get free shoes (top 3) and other gotta pay

I'm planning on starting the new career after the waivers clear tomorrow. I want to make sure that I will have a current roster.
I will create a 6'3 200 Playmaker. I saved up a lot of VC with the MyNBA2K17 app. I will focus on Playmaking and Athlete first. Then work on Defense and Layup, last Midrange.
My target is Pelicans. Mainly because most team in top 10 don't really need a pg
