Re: Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread
Just made a 6'2" Playmaking PG (in my likeness). Just wondering what everybody's best draft projection has been so far? I saw where Smoove stayed in the lottery. I just got "Top 3"
What about everybody else?

Re: Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread
Im torn between a Shot Creator or Playmaking SG. My guy will be 6'5" 220 and modeled around Kobe and James Harden. I would go with Playmaking for the extra Speed/3Pt Shot/Playmaking but I am nervous about the off dribble shooting.
My playstyle will be a ballhandler so I need good Playmaking to pass and dribble with the ball. I will mainly create shots for myself and other teammates. 3 Point shooting isnt extremely important but I want to have a somewhat reliable shot. Anyone that has played Playmaking SG let me know what you think. I know here is only so much you can tell from 5 games on Rookie difficulty at 55 overall."Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion!"

The playmaker gets the pick&roll maestro badge, which should increase your assist percentage AND shot percentage after someone sets a screen for you.
If you gold that badge (or hall of fame the badge, although i'm not clear how the new hall of fame upgrade system works), you should be a respectable threat off the dribble during pick and rolls.
Can someone who knows better actually clarify: can we upgrade all 5 of our upgradeable badges to hall of fame?Comment

My favorite thread every year. Anyways, I'm going to make a 'Post scoring' Center, sending him to G-Town, not sure what height and weight yet, and both guard positions with playmaker for both. Not sure of their sizes yet either, nor their colleges.

Re: Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread
I went with a 6'5 Shot Creator SG and took him to OU. I've only played the first two games so far and am projected to be a Lottery Pick.
Going for the James Harden like player, with a little better defense, lmao.
I really don't want to be drafted by any of the lottery teams though. The earliest team I want to go to is Memphis at 17. Next is Indiana. I might end up tanking a little bit to lower my stock slightly.Comment
