I have a 6'8" Shot Creator SF. Projected to be a Lottery pick, after averaging 17PPG. I'm honestly hoping to go 6th to the Pelicans, yes the Pelicans, in the draft. About to do the bonus game now, will post my stats after.

Re: Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread

After finishing the prelude I'm projected as a lottery pick.

I do the same main career every year, a 6'8, 240-260lb SF and I've gone for point forward. Really trying to emulate LeBron in his first Cavs spell. It's difficult with the post game being so weak for the archetype but I've hit a few post fades in the college games.

For the prelude I avaraged around 11/7/4 at Oklahoma, hitting a really good combo with Buddy Hield which I'd like to continue in the pros at some point.

For my other careers I want to do a 6'3 shot creator PG sort of like Kyrie and a power forward, I'm not sure what the archetypes for bigs are but I wanna be a post oriented player with emphasis on scoring layups and hooks while playing good post defense. Possibly around 6'10 but maybe smaller for lateral quickness.

I put up 14pts, 2reb, & 1block for Team USA, probably my worst game glad it didn't affect my draft stock lol.

I'm late this year - won't be starting until the 16th.

My plan this year is to make a John Stockton defensive PG prototype. I always play PG, which means most of the teams I enjoy (Lakers and Timberwolves) will be stock full of people in my position.

My worry with this archtype is that my character will turn out to be a Ricky Rubio instead of a John Stockton - and I wonder if I will end up being the Russel Westbrook slasher I've played for the past 5ish years or so.

With the fact that you need to score around 20 points in college in order to get a decent draft position (nothing new there but still disappointing) I'm seriously worried my defensive PG will be drafted lower then the juice twin character...

I think they messed up giving the slasher such a low 'Speed with Ball' statistic. From what I've seen/heard from others with both the full game and upgraded players in the prelude the low 'Speed with Ball' stat will really slow down your fast breaks. They're probably going to have to play off-ball a LOT to take advantage of their high speed without the ball.

This stat alone has turned me off making a slasher. I've finished the prelude with a 6'5 SG Shot Creator and am planning on a 6'3 PG Playmaker low weight when the full game drops.

Made a 6'2 playmaking pg, modeling him after my real self lmao. Best game so far was the one before the championship, we were down 6 with 40 secs to go, had to hit 2 back to back 3 pointers to get us in overtime for the win.

Anybody else noticed how the gameplay changed a little bit after leaving college and going to team USA? Felt a lot more loose and free than the college gameplay.

I'm going to make a Playmaking PG. Trying to decide my height. I'm thinking of making him 6'0 or maybe even 5'11 to be quicker and a shorter wingspan to get some of those skills up and weighing about 165 to get more in my favor.

I just don't know how dominate I can be at that size.

Started off making a PG that's my actual height and I might keep him but when the full game drops I'm making a 6'6 SG Shot Creator most likely. Haven't fully decided yet but I will be trying to go to the Knicks. Lee will be a nice backup and I get to play with my favorite player for the first time in a little while.

They have the "One Man Fastbreak" badge tho..so it might make up some of the lost speed.

But speed is important regardless, centers are a lot slower this year and I haven't seen as many crazy blocks or chasedowns...actually I've seen none.
I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

My athletic finisher caught a few sick ones in the prelude. That high vert and speed make a nice difference

I'm struggling to decide whether or not I want to make a 6'3 Slasher or Shot Creator PG.

I'm hesitant to make a slasher because last year I made the mistake of making a balanced point guard and I felt extremely limited (moreso in MyPark) mainly because my player's penchant for missing wide open 3's and the weak midrange game.

Shot Creator seems very capable offensively, but I do want that feeling of being a strong "little" guy i.e Westbrook and pulling off ridiculous layups and posters.

Second time getting Top 3, this time I forced the last 2 Tournament games to go to Double OT just to pad stats. 55 Ovr 6'7 Playmaker PG 2.0
