Hate to say it, but they nailed MyCareer this year. So much better than last year's. Less scripted, less cheesy (it's still there but it's not as awfully bad - freqin' and vibin') and it's got an interesting dynamic with it with Justice and even Denver.

Most fun I've had playing MyCareer in years. Doesn't feel forced at all.

Clothing: Mitchell & Ness (assuming they have a lifetime opportunity). I love the idea of the throwback stuff.

I got the Mitchell and ness endorsement, mostly for the throwback high school jersey. I wish they included throwback NBA jerseys

You can both end up as starters and then if you keep connecting with the 'Orange Juice' you start to do a lot more outside of games as well together. (I'm about 25 games in)

Should I equip as many dunk packages as I have slots or should I just equip the 1 or 2 good packages?

Ironically I now have the same issue lol, I'm watching it for the second time.

I would suggest saying yes and doing the drills to at least get something out of practice. I almost filled my doing work meter by getting a gold and a silver on the 2 drills I got to do before the cutscene.

This is probably gonna need a patch.

Edit: I've just realised it's pointless filling the doing work meter as it doesn't get a chance to drain before you leave. Optional practice is actually broken once you get this far into the season. This is quite an issue...

In My Career, Justice is rated 83 OVR on my team (Lakers) and we're not even 10 games into the first season. 83 OVR! The next highest rated player on this team is D'Angelo Russell who is not only a 79, but also a PG.

With me so far?

Justice is PG in My Career, he's not a SG. He's a POINT GUARD, but only getting 15 minutes in the game while a player rated lower than him (Russell) is getting 33 minutes a game.

What is wrong with this picture?

In My Career, Justice is rated 83 OVR on my team (Lakers) and we're not even 10 games into the first season. 83 OVR! The next highest rated player on this team is D'Angelo Russell who is not only a 79, but also a PG.

I just wish he wasn't rated so high and NOT starting or getting his minutes. Like I kinda have a problem with him being rated so high already but if he was getting the minutes that his rating demands, then I'd be half ok with it.

I'm not sure if 2K meant for him to be rated so high so soon. Atleast give him a year to get him developed to the NBA. He'll be a 99 OVR player the end of the first season, easily.

Only thing I don't like about the mode is the fact that justice is turning into Michael freaking Jordan and it's only november. Does he ever stop or does he eventually ascend from this earth and become Jesus?

No I'm only 15 games into the season. I'll have to skip all remaining optional practices and earn my attribute upgrades in mycourt I guess
