I honeslty haven't looked at them yet. When I start playing tonight I'll look them up and see where they are at and once those boosts are applied again keep checking them as I play to see if those +1 boosts stay. You can't upgrade them from the player upgrades screen so I would say those +1 boosts are permanent or they would never go up.

I'm not saying I want to take 5-10 3 pointers a game, but ya know...make 1 or 2 at the most while being a threat on the dribble and driving to the hoop.

Maybe Playmaker is for me. I don't need post scoring, strength or rebounding. Don't care about those.

The rest of the playmaker stats are:
          15 shoot off dribble
          16 layups
          16 mid range
          15 3pt
          25 agility for speed
          25 playmaking for dribbling

And 15 defending is still pretty reasonable.

Those that are Playmakers, how do you like it for OFFLINE? I don't play My Park.
I'm a play maker. 79 overall at this point. It's hit and miss for me. I've learned quickly that I shoot more three's than I once thought - cause I'm missing a lot more. I'm having a hard time getting used to the defense, but all around my guy is pretty good. I average about 19 ppg after about 20 games. I think once I get my stats maxed, I'll be a little happier.

Not a ringing endorsement, but my experience as a playmaker so far.

I haven't got any shooting or speed boosts yet so I can't tell you if they are permanent.
            I received a ShotIQ +1

I had a really hard time picking which type of player I wanted to be too. It's so hard this year. You can't skip cutscenes so it's almost like you can only make one player because it's a grind this year. I went with slasher because I love the badges. And driving to the hoop is my type of game. You can still hit an occasional three with the right pull up jumper on the run. The rating is in the mid 80's for shoot off the dribble mid range and three with boosts. So threes aren't impossible but for spotting up you can't shot them at all. Go with what suits you the most.

Am happy with playermaker as a PG, your shots good enough at each range when open.

You have speed which is great.

Layups and dunk are okay also but i do get blocked alot only being 6'2".

What position are going for also?

Just got started on mine. Made a 6'3" 195 lb. playmaker PG. Have only played one NBA game and it's neat your teammate will come to your gym to play. I got drafted by the Timberwolves and Karl Anthony Towns came calling.

Are you timing the release with face button or the stick? Stick timing will require you to aim the shot.

Just do vertical jump drill man, its easiest. Im playing right now, I have 77 reaction time but after 1 day it went back to 76 then 75... Must be a glitch?

When you are at your Gym reading messages and the other part of the new NBA big three come for training. A devil smile in my face.

Apparently 2k still thinks it's okay for your teammates not to guard stretch 4s in MyCareer. Kinda getting sick of players like Ryan Anderson and Mirotic having 40+ point games because players don't guard them at the 3 point line.
