if you're choosing a 6'5" PF? I'd say Lockdown Defender because the aggregate stats of it are higher than other archetypes for PFs. The shot close and midrange isn't too terrible, your defensive and athletic stats are all high. surprisingly lockdown defender has a higher speed cap than athletic finisher

Thing is Barkley wasnt known for his defense. That build brings a lot of strength though not sure how important that is in 2k?

Thinking athletic finisher pf or slasher sf both have decent playmaking and one man fast break.might go with 6'6. Maybe easier to get rebounds and post up as sf but as a pf you get to drive past big pf's

Guess i am always looking to create a mismatch type of player. A player who is unique in terms of size and position and skill (think magic, lebron, barkley)

The first live ball injury I've seen this year came about 30 games into MyCareer against the New York Knicks:

Derrick Rose's 73 durability rating is no joke.



I also loved seeing the CPU Knicks run the triangle in that game. The AI's spacing, passing, and cutting in that freelance is so smooth this year.

Having a really tough time getting a career going..

My athletic finisher C from the Prelude was drafted 10th to the Bucks, a team I actually wanted to play for. But I wanted to be a post scorer..

Recreated a post scorer C, drafted 5th to TWolves. If they didn't already have Dunn I would be cool, cause KAT would slide to PF. But we don't need Rubio, Dunn, and Justice.

So.. Recreated again. This time I wanted to tank. Scored ZERO points in college , drafted 28th to the Suns.. One pick away from the Spurs. A Suns team that already has Bledsoe.. Smh

Trying a 6'3 PG Playmaker at 170lbs with the shortest wingspan. Seeing how it goes.

Anyone know how long do I have to wait until I can get traded with Justice?

Can you get drafted immediately sim forward and then ask for a trade? Or do you have to get to a certain point in the story? Play X amount of games?

I believe I was able to ask for a trade after 5-7 games.

My advice is: stick with one and see if you like. If it doesnt work out, ask for a trade. But give your player a chance. You will have fun im sure. I am having a blast with my 6'3 sg sharpshooter.

I don't know about you guys, but I am really bored with MyCareer so far.

Maybe it's the player I created (Point Forward) that right now has so many limitations that it isn't fun to play with.

But I find myself skipping practices just because it's too tedious.

Felt same way with my PF Stretch Big. I made a 6'3 170lb PG Playmaker and it's more fun but i'm trying to see if it's better than a shot creator.

I averaged kinda 17, 3, 2 in college and i was drafted by them on the 5th pick.
