Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
That's crazy... I may just have to take a step away from Pro Am until something is fixed. If im not getting kicked from the game in team Pro Am, I'm playing walk on without sounds with randoms who quit if the team is down 2 lol. Guess i'll go play some park.Comment

We did walk on, it was 3 of us and 2 randoms going against an obvious team that knew each other. We came back after being down 17 with 2:25 left, also pretty cool is my 6'8 LDD Small Forward plays at center in walk on and gets matched up with 7 foot + stretch bigs and dominates them lol

Other than irritating me when I miss layups with him things are going pretty well. Been running with my stretch big lately since he fits in more with the pro am team I run with, but I still enjoy my finisher.Comment

I love shutting bigs down as a LDD, my last two games I got a Triple double (PTs, RBs, Stls for the first and the standard PTs, RBs, ASTs along with a 5x5 in the 2nd.) 6'9" LDD Sf playing at the 5.Comment

I had 19/11/6/2/1 against a 7'1 250 stretch big, my guy is 6'8 200.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
Is this where we rant about our terrible walk on teammates?
How in the world was the SG on my team allowed to have anything more than a C-? All his matchup did was just run straight to the corner, and his non-existent awareness of defense singlehandedly put us into a bind that we couldn't get back from. On top of that their center just destroyed our AI, because that guy either disconnected or quit before the game started (Likely a disconnect)Last edited by ph33; 10-18-2016, 11:55 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
Played the 10th team on Xbox and gotta say it was close I only knew two of the guys on my team and the other two were park randoms. Game went down to the final moments of the fourth and we ended up losing 87-95. They played a 5 out offense with all of them being sharpshooters, a playmaking PG, one stretch big, and a GC and would just have the C (GC) set a pick at the top of the key and the PG would then just move side to side to see if u would touch the screen and then either drive for a dunk or would then pass out to a three if someone helped on the drive. Seemed a little cheesy as that was all they did all game but was still not really abusing anything so no big deal.
Only thing that annoyed me was that the PF hit two transition pull up 3s which just shouldn't happen imo no 7'3 guy in the nba does that

I can't wait for the moving screen patch. But that isn't the only issue. Offensive players can turbo to a spot and defensive players can't do anything about it. They sure know how to literally take the game out of your hands.
Also, Porzingis (But I get it, that is just 1)Comment

in the box 1, 4 of you play the corners of the paint and shade to where the ball is. the remaining 1 guy (usually player struggling with zones) follows the ball.
zones arent unbreakable but theyre good for change of pace when other team gets rolling
also try 3-2, and 1-3-1. these are other zones that can be effective in pro am
like zones irl, gonna take trust and basketball iq to run them correctlyComment
