Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
Connection issues definitely still there (especially on weekends).
However, on the positive side... The floor feels way more open and I feel like I can move around without getting screened every 5 seconds. Huge improvement there.Comment

They are great at making the part of the game that happens ON the court - but everything else they really suck at. They need help when it comes to game design, anyone that plays "Top tier" games can recognize this.Comment

Pretty sure they suck at patching.... they basically make us re-install the entire game. So even 10mb of patch would require a 7gb download.

I didn't even mind the camera angle change on free throws as it was a viable tactic in a game mode where there's no much strategy, and it's fairly easy to learn shoot free throws blindfolded.Comment

On court part would be fine as it is IF I could reach it lmao. Last week I reached tip off maybe once in 6 games and there were others on the team with same error message.

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
Just tried four (Update, now 7) times in a row for Walk-On Pro-AM on Xbox One.
1st Attempt: Countdown when the game was starting and got kicked.
2nd Attempt: Got kicked at "A new player has joined". Pressed okay on the error, and then my game crashed.
3rd Attempt: Countdown when the game was starting and got kicked.
4th Attempt: Game started. Success.
5th Attempt: Did not take my friend with me (left him in MyPARK).
6th Attempt: Put my friend and I in separate Pro-AM games.
7th Attempt: My friend gets kicked, countdown.
This is an absolute joke.Last edited by Jhawkfootball06; 11-06-2016, 10:08 PM.Comment

Yep, I've experienced similar results, and heard the same from friends.
It's unacceptable, 5 patches into the game and still experiencing this."I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." - Michael JordanComment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
The more I think about it, the more amazing it is that 2K majorly mixed themselves up in what the gaming preferences seem to be.
After they finally fixed the issues last year with regular Pro-Am, did anyone have a problem with the scenery and system they used? Outside of the cheating teams in RTTF, it worked fine for the most part and never had issues. The arena system was unique and different while the walk on had the feel of the Rec Center without the rep. All they truly had to do was make some improvements to those modes but probably could have lived off their designs for another year with a foolproof working online system with no one really caring about it being an arena atmosphere cause that's realistic.
Meanwhile, Park players get the same Park and a lot of the same things and end up disliking the design pattern while Pro-Am got majorly changed up and is broken longer than the original Pro Am from last year was at this rate. If they switched those two around and Park were more stable than Pro-Am is now, it seems like both sides would have been happy.Comment

Or, I could just not worry about a thing and glitch my guy to 98 since 2k clearly doesn't care about people cheating...yes, glitching your guy to 98 is cheating even though the game should've caught this bug.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
It sucks because many people don't want to have to play Park to get the final remaining attribute points. Park is the cheese of all cheese. I'd rather get rep just playing Pro-Am Walk On games and actually play basketball.

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
Here are the steps:
1) Buy exactly 135,000 VC from the store,
2) Transfer Saved Data files for your MyPlayer to a USB drive,
3) Transfer saved data to any laptop,
4) Delete saved data from all three sources (PS4, USB drive and laptop)
5) After completing this, you should receive 8 new attribute points on your MyCareer.Comment
