Can you be more specific? Like where do the cuts happen. From the top, the baseline? Also are there other ways to expose the 3-2 zone? You're just telling me off ball cuts but you're not painting me a good picture on how we should set the offense?

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
Im looking for a team actually. I have 3 characters 2 really good ones that I can get17 ppg with in any type of offense. Plays good defense and would love to join a team with a system already in place.
Also I prefer guys that just like to have fun. Im very competitive too but at the end of the day if im on a team that's playing smart and free im good with losses.
I have a 7' 3" Post scorer and im very solid offensively and defensivly.
Also have a 6 6 shot creator who I usually take a backseat with offensively but if you pass to me ill get around 17 ppg on 50%. My post scorer will score close to 24 ppg if im not doubled. I have pretty high assists numbers as well with the big. Around 5 a game in pro amComment

If I seriously had 4 other users who listened to what I said defensively I would attack a 3-2 as such:
1. Space the court. As soon as I Identify a 3-2 im posting a guy in the corner opposite of the ball handler and on the opposite wing, and one more guy at the top of the key. Those guys can interchange whenever they want or cut when its open. They are really just there to keep the defenders on that side of the court, in their place.
2. So at this point every play should basically be a 2 man game between my PG and the big setting a screen. My offense would require a really good PG. Hed basically have to be good enough to know when to pass and when to shoot and who to pass to. Also the guy stationed at the top of the key would have to know when to cut. Because his man is going to most likely be the guy coming over to collapse on drives from our PG, and rolls from the big.
3. Id pick and roll the defense to death. If they truly are in zone then 2 to 3 of their defenders will basically not exist for most of the game if they are truly dedicated to their zone. If they aren't and guys come over without discipline then youll eat their zone up with good passing.
If were keeping it short and simple, to beat a zone you need a smart ballhandler, and you need to space the floor. You don't need guys randomly cutting for no reason and messing up your spacing. Also this would clog up pass lanes and ruin the game for the PG. Cut when its smart. But spacing the floor and running pick and roll would be my simple technique. If your PG was good at not turning it over and passing to the correct man I cant imagine youd lose many gamesLast edited by Housh123; 06-14-2017, 05:13 PM.Comment
