2k has the best developers in the world you think they would slip up this bad without it being part of the grand scheme, which it is with the ps4 and Xbox to get console owners to upgrade to ps4 neo and Xbox Scorpio when patch updates come out that would solve all the visual inconsistencies. That patch update will solely be for the new consoles to get people to upgrade, think business people mixed with a little politics that's all.

Re: The Art Team Really Tanked This Year.
2k has to keep us under their thumb give a little, take a little it just happens to be they chose art work to do it as. Player Editing would solve this issue that's the reason why they don't do it because at the end of the day video games is still a business and 2k is the top dog so they can get away with giving away trinkets knowing you'll purchase keeping hopefull for 2k18 unlike the competition that shall remain nameless.Comment

Re: The Art Team Really Tanked This Year.
The whole backboard/rim looks worse this year as well (at least from broadcast cam).
The reflection of the rim in the glass is way too much. It looks like a mirror almost.
Lastly, the rim seems too small. I thought it looked off, and comparing it to 2K16, it definitely looks smaller.
Did 2K hire a new art team this year or something?Last edited by WISports; 09-10-2016, 08:30 PM.Comment

Re: The Art Team Really Tanked This Year.
I don't know why they removed the body type from this game that Steph Curry had last year. They remove probably the best fitting body type for most players and opt to use the worst (Maybe except for on KD & Ingram). It doesn't make since.

Re: The Art Team Really Tanked This Year.
The uniforms in the game look so fat and stiff, they should have 3 jersey type tight, lose, or regular. All the player jerseys are perfectly tucked which is so unrealistic
Look at 2k14 compared to 2k17
2k14

Re: The Art Team Really Tanked This Year.
The art dept. needs to be held at a higher standard than this, especially when you have the developers putting so much into this game to make it great.
The bodies are so bad this year that I may pass on the game. And I've gotten every 2K since the very beginning.
It's already bad enough for me with the whole Bucks court/unis being so bad. But this may be too much. Totally kills the immersion for me.
Last year the bodies weren't perfect by no means, but they were light years better than this year. No excuses.Comment

Wide shoulders with skinny arms just looks alien to me.Comment
