Thanks Krazy, I'm assuming this has been my problem. Maybe it's that I waste time by starting at 12, or even that I have a tendency to rotate beyond 180 degrees.Die hard Heat and Dolphins fan since '89

Re: The New NBA 2K17 Right Stick Dribbling Mechanics are A1. (WHITE PG #1 HIGHLIGHTS)
Guys, great vids.
A short question:
Before you cross over (lets say from right hand to left) do you move your players towards the right and then after the cross over sprint to left?
I'll try to clarify myself: do you return the left stick to neural position before the cross? When do you turbo out of the cross?
Sorry if i'm not clear. Any explanation on best left right stick position on crosses will be appreciated.Comment

I'm assuming by what you described here that you want to do a hesitation to a cross over.Guys, great vids.

For clarity sake say the ball is in your right hand (absolute controls)
Flick RS to the right (ball hand), THEN exit left with the LS while holding turbo.
That will make your player hesitate to the right then move to the left with a crossover.Comment

Thanks alot man, and yea Mo's video was legit.Yo Krazy, this is the best 2k demo highlight reel since the great MomentousCeltic 2k11 demo of Kobe doing work lol. Almost as if you were inspired by the great Momentous, now a 2k employee btw. Man 2k11 still holds up against the test of time to this day. Still the GOAT imo!

Might just have to make a legit video when the full game drops

Re: The New NBA 2K17 Right Stick Dribbling Mechanics are A1. (WHITE PG #1 HIGHLIGHTS)
Thanks man. What i'm looking for is breaking my man more easily with a cross without bumping him. Let's say you dribble 45 degrees on the 3pt line to the left of the basket. You start moving right towards the basket, then cross to the left hand and finish with a left hand layup. What's the best way to launch out of the cross to beat your man?I'm assuming by what you described here that you want to do a hesitation to a cross over.

Something about my angles causes me to bump the defender a lot...Thanks man. What i'm looking for is breaking my man more easily with a cross without bumping him. After playing 2KU over and over I have figure out the dribbling abit. Only thing that's weird is that sometimes I weirdly just post up.Comment

This is all terrific stuff man! One question, below is a vid - at 4:11 you'll see Russ dribbling with Aldridge on him (top of the key). He does a first step through the legs which creates a TONNE of space then pulls up.
Can anyone attest to this being a possible move you can now make in 2K17? Essentially creating space with the threat of a drive - in particular if you get a big switch onto you?

From what I've viewed I feel like it's kind of possible. But I guess I'm looking for assurance....
Thanks in advance guys!Last edited by MarkWilliam; 09-13-2016, 05:48 AM.Comment

Re: The New NBA 2K17 Right Stick Dribbling Mechanics are A1. (WHITE PG #1 HIGHLIGHTS)
Ugh I need to calm down when playing and stop moving the right stick so much trying to dribble past the defender. I think this is where my problem is. I'm just moving the stick around without knowing what I'm actually doing.Comment
