Was I the only one not impressed by his dribbling? I guess I expected more for some reason. Good vid nonetheless. The combos are going to be real interesting this year. Park players are going to get a good glimpse of crossover 16 again like the 2k15 days. Lol be prepared.Comment

This is all terrific stuff man! One question, below is a vid - at 4:11 you'll see Russ dribbling with Aldridge on him (top of the key). He does a first step through the legs which creates a TONNE of space then pulls up.
Can anyone attest to this being a possible move you can now make in 2K17? Essentially creating space with the threat of a drive - in particular if you get a big switch onto you?

From what I've viewed I feel like it's kind of possible. But I guess I'm looking for assurance....
Thanks in advance guys!
This is to me the best user controlled dribbling in the series. It gives the game a much more creative feel. The CPU when dribbling is no slouch either number 12 in 2KU is nasty with his too.Comment

I would say yes in the 2KU the CPU will give up certain things and you can create realistic separation like that even against guards. Sometimes Scott OG will play the drive and give you the mid range. I haven't been really matched up against a big because they don't switch the picks.

I didn't get Prelude as I am not a MyCareer/Player guy so figured the full game fresh would be more fun for myself.
Hype level just raised a bit just from this thread alone. The dribbling looks great this year!Comment

Can be done but won't be as quick using the standard between the leg while walking. Some iso moves might have a quick between the leg dribble but you would have to pause and let go of the left stick.
John Wall has something quick like this from what I've seen in the animations.
Edit - Pull backs and hesitations are the best space creators while walking. Can't really explode like in video.

I've been practicing quite a bit in 2ku these past few days and i'm finally starting to get the hang of it. Never was very good at it in previous 2k's. Have to admit it's pretty enjoyable (and of course frustrating at times trying to figure it out) beating the defense with some of these moves and counters.
I think i might just make a 6'1 playmaker pg now, White Chocolate 2.0Comment

Figured I'd get in on it. This wasn't a clean break...but you'll see something fun. Not sure how to embed, thoughFemale Russell Westbrook.
