From what I've heard, they'll call your hometown because it's built into the game. They won't do your team name because it's a variable.

Currently 30-14 and tied for 1st with Cleveland for first in the East with my Celtics. 2 weeks before the All Star game and I have moved quickly to make my moves prior to the deadline as I know what my team needs.
Before the season started I traded grabbed Hollis Thompson, Jarret Jack to 1 year deals. Midway I signed Hickson and Acy. I lost Horford for 8 weeks earlier with a fractured ankle and now, 2 weeks before the deadline I lost IT4 for 6-8 weeks with a high ankle sprain.
The Magic and Suns are the worst in their respective conference with no chance to get into the playoffs. I traded a couple lottery protected 1st's + Zeller and jerebko (to match salary) for Ibaka from the Magic. I traded Rozier and a second rounder to the Suns for Barbosa. Here is my lineup:
Starter: Jack, Bradley, Crowder, Ibaka, Horford
Bench: Smart, Barbosa, Brown, Johnson, Olynyk, Green, Hollis Thompson, Acy.
RES: Hickson (out 2-4 weeks) IT4 (out 4-6 weeks)
That will likely be all the moves I make in year one and going all in for a title. Will look to move the nets first and another first with maybe crowder/Bradley for a nice upgrade.
Hopefully this will be the year for Championship 18!!

I posted earlier about going 48-34 in a Clippers MyLeague. I play all games, 12 minute quarters. The only major roster change was adding Rudy Gay.
I got matched up on OK in round 1. I used the playbook Czar updated so OKC would pick and roll me to death. My main strategy was letting Westbrook get his, dont let anyone get off and it worked.
Ive included highlight videos with captures of box scores and stats at the end.
Game 1
They blitzed me early. They got up 20 at one point. I kept pegging them back and Westbrook gradually wore down. I outscored them 33-19 in the last quarter, won 105-102 and Paul sealed it from mid range. Westbrook went 10/30. Griffin put up 25/8/7.

Game 2
Very similar pattern to game 1. They got up big early, I wore down Westbrook (kind of) and won 104-97. They scored 64 in the 1st half, 33 in the 2nd. Westbrook put up 43 and 9 but only Kanter hurt me. I had a really even spread. 6 guys put up between 13 and 18 points.

Game 3
This one was pretty epic. I won 118-114 in OT. Westbrook was really hard to stop especially in transition. He had 53 and 9 assists on 21/35 shooting. I was ragdolled. Griffin put up 28/11 and Paul had 21, 15 assists and 5 boards. DAJ had 25 boards and 4 blocks.

Game 4
This was a very comfortable game, I was up 20 in the 4th, they came back and I finished them off 110-105. Griffin had 31/8 Paul had 18 and 16. Westbrook was much less aggressive, only put 21 shots and had 19 points.

Following on from above, I had to play Golden State in the 2nd round.
They smashed me 4-0 in the regular season and scored 120+ in 3 of the 4 games. I went into game 1 with the strategy of playing very slow. I never ran, I dont think I had any FB points.
Game 1
The strategy worked. I held them to 103, but only scored 95 myself. They only shot 48% they were above 55% in all 4 reg season games. Durant had 24, Curry 22. Griffin had 33 and 5 rebs, Gay and Paul had double doubles. A very dour game.

Game 2
Welp. That didnt work. Lost 114-83. I culdnt hit anything and shot 38%, they shot 54% and made 13 3s. They blasted me 34-16 in the final quarter. Durant had 39 points, 15 boards and 6 blocks.

Game 3
This was really bad. I lost 140-99. Not more I can say here. They shot 58% and made 17 3s. Thompson had 30, 29 and 12, Durant 27. My team...it doesnt really matter.

Game 4
They put me out of misery- 131-110. I held them to 49% shooting but I got desperate and they turned 20 turnovers in 35 FB points. Griffin had 27/11, Paul had 20 points, 23 assists and 11 TOs. Durant had a lazy 42, 12 boards, 4 steals and 2 blocks.

The only way I'd be able to beat them is dropping the difficulty way down. I wasn't helped by the switching mechanic not being consistent enough.
How do you fare against them? I've never had so much trouble with 1 team in 14 years of 2K gaming.Comment

I play them really well this year with my Kings. The key for me is a consistent PnR attack. Because they switch everything there are a lot nice missmatches to take advantage from.
Boogie is going bonkers every time I play them.
I would guess from the 8 games I played them so far I was winning at leat 6. I remember hoping to get to the 8th seed to play these guys because I thought I would really stand a chance, not like against the Spurs.Comment

I am in my 1st year with the nets in mygm and things are going as expected. But I am at the point where I want to be in the western conference since its the roughest conference. Teams I'm looking at are
Pelicans - the brow
Kings - boogie
Suns - Bledsoe and Booker
Memphis - defense but up in age
I would have thrown Denver in there but they seem like they have their important positions figured out. With Memphis they are a year or two away from being in the position that the kings and pelicans are in. The Suns seem like they are on the brink of figuring it out so I might move them off the list as well.
Any advice fellas is appreciated

Thank the heavens! I finally mastered Rodney Hood's shot. Could never get him to hit a jumper to save my life, finally exploded for 22 last night in my MyLeague. The Prince of Threes strikes again!

Finally make it to the Playoffs with the Rockets and injuries hit me. 1st round match up against Thunder and Capella is out the entire series. Harden enters the game injured with a bad hip but can play. In the first minute he gets fouled and hits the dick and now is out 1-2 weeks with a shoulder injury.
During the trade line I acquired Rudy Gay which helped carry me the first game a little but in the end I lost by 20. If Harden doesn't come back game 3 then I am likely doomed.

But in all seriousness that sucks, and have definitely been there before. I made the playoffs with T'Wolves and last regular season game Wiggins gets a bad ankle sprain and is out for 2 weeks, and 1st playoff game Towns Jr gets a sprained MCL and is out for the series... Needless to say I was swept
