I also really want to try one out with the Lakers. They obviously have a lot of good young talent, I just don't see any of them as All NBA Players, and I just can't do a Lakers rebuild without an MVP candidate... Just doesn't feel right lol. Russell is a good playmaker, and decent scorer, he's the closest candidate probably. Ingram has really been downgraded since release, and it's justified. He's decently productive, but not great at anything at all. I like Clarkson a lot, but he's not All Star potential, and really not that far away from his peak. Randle and Nance Jr is a great rotational power forward duo though. I've thought about doing a custom roster, where the Lakers and Philly switched position in the 2016 draft lottery, thus having Simmons on the Lakers and Ingram on the 76'ers. Would be awesome having Simmons running the new Shotime Lakers era! Then there's the contract situation, how the hell do you get rid of those awful Luol Deng, Mozgov contracts without doing cheesing the CPU GM's: nobody in their right minds would take on those contracts.

The jury is definitely still OUT on the young Lakers. I really hope one of those kids evolves soon, if ever. I think I'mma go with AD somehow, or maybe Paul George. Westbrook would be nice...I'm just gonna start things up for now and see how the new game feels. Do you got any slider recommendations, or are base sliders good? Should I mess with wingspans?

I always change up the sliders, but there's some good community created downloadable sliders on PS4 that I usually download and just make the CPU more aggressive when resigning, to make sure KD and Steoh doesn't leve GSW if they don't win the chip in the first season. I haven't edited wingspans on any players, I think they're good, but haven't paid too much attention to be honest.

I'm going with ThatMichiganFan's sliders for the moment, gonna play opening night tomorrow. I really like the new animations for shooting and the graphics have an extra nice polish to them compared to 2k16. I like the new rim physics too. I'm thinking maybe Zack Randolph maybe? Or just a solid player that would elevate the Lakers. Gonna poke around and search for ideas...but I love Ingram so far in scrimmage.

Looking into year 2 for my Celtics be a gm and was trying to find a way to get Zizic, Nader, Yubesele and Bentil for next year. I know this may be impossible but I would really like to have those guys next year. Anyone come across a solution?

It's for 2K16, but is pretty much the same for 2K17.

I just created their appearance over a lowly rated prospect. I will sign them after the following years draft and update their ratings at that time. Obviously, it's not ideal and there's some work involved, but it's better than nothing.

I once thought of this season as being one of hope, playoffs, and success. Now, I hope that we are doing enough to secure ourselves a top 3 pick. Whilst, also hoping the Kings get me in the Top 11-15.

Elsewhere in the league not much movement has occurred. The Orlando Magic however did sign veteran forward Terrence Jones to a one-year $5.76M deal. The next night the Magic visited the United Center and, well they kicked our butts. 82-120, behind Evan Fournier double-double. Jimmy Butler did however, have another great outing for us scoring 25 points. But, his contributions dont seem to be enough. I have told Jimmy many times that he needs to be more aggressive. He just seems unwilling to show the level of aggression that I need from him on a daily basis.

We took that bullet to the head. Next was a two-game road trip to the southeast. Atlanta was first up on the trip and I think the players left their will and determination to win home in Chicago. As Dwight 16pts, and 12 rebounds powered the Hawks to a 78-127 victory. Miami was no better except we looked a smidge better defensively. Rose stood tall in the game before going down with a left foot sprain after Dragic stepped under him on a jump shot. Rose finished the game with 26 points but the sad news will have him on the sidelines for 1-2 weeks.

While some could now criticize the investment in Rose. Doctors in New York told the Knicks that newly acquired guard Dwayne Wade would miss the next month with left knee tendinitis.

As we headed back home, some breaking news from Los Angeles came through as the Lakers, and new president of basketball operations Magic Johnson decided to fire Luke Walton. They replaced him with Benjamin Walker a nonexperienced coach out of San Jose.

I let the team have the day off after the road trip before we took on the Wizards. And lets just say that no Rose, and playing the fierce backcourt of Beal, and Wall. It was shaping up to be a bad day. The Wizards would beat us 112-95 in our sixth straight blowout loss, and seventh loss in a row.

Good thing we have a ton of expirings..... Including the coach.

Just started year 2 in my Celtics franchise. Lost to Houston in 6 in the finals. Lost out in FA to Durant, Curry, Blake. Drafted Monk 6th overall, Bridgea /21 overall. signed Zbo (1 year deal), Otto porter (3 year deal), Bogut, Arthur and Burke (1 year deals).

My roster is:
Thomas, Bradley, Porter, Zbo, Horford. Smart, monk, brown, Olynyk, bogut, Burke, Arthur, bridges. Rookie PF (68 overall), empty roster spot.

My second unit has been great with brown, smart, monk, Olynyk running a good, fast pace game with bogut cleaning the glass. The starters seem slow in the first 3 games but is too early to tell and I'm 2-1 to start.

Part of me thinks I should deal Bradley to open some mins for my young guys but I want to stay productive. There are a couple of good offers (ross+1st, shumpert + first, lamb + 1st, Middleton + first, 2-1sts from PHX) so I might consider it. So far Bradley hasn't been getting as many touches with porter, zbo, Horford and Thomas but he plays good defence and has managed to average 10 PPG in the first 3 games with a good mid range/three point game. I feel all of the players I would get back in trades above would be 1 aspect of Bradley (either offence or defence) so I might be better off holding the more complete player. I'll know more after the first month of the season.

Started off the season with an awesome game at the Lakers, however, we run into injury trouble in the game. Overall, I am really loving my Rockets team. I hope we can make a playoff run when the time comes.

Managed to snag Kyle Lowry in free agency, and have him playing with Jamal Murray (Now a really solid shooter and can drive in his second year), Lonzo Ball (unfortunately I'd rather have Fultz because he has elite potential while Ball, though solid, has a B+), Josh Jackson (a great slasher, yet shot needs work), and Nikola Jokic (and all I had to give up for him was Dragan Bender) who anchors with Nerlans Noel as the 6th man, and Johnathan Isaac off the bench. I think its a solid team, and if not this year, then definitely the next will be a deep playoff run (assuming Lowry doesn't drop off significantly in the next year)

Personally I keep mine to real life teams, and I even follow real life injuries and transactions too. As well as using real drafted players in DC. After that 1st season, then I let things play out on their own, but dont let anything happen that would be absurd by another team in MyLeague30 team control. I also dont make any trades that the team I am wouldnt do IRL, for example Im always the Pacers, so I wouldnt be signing no superstar like a Lebron,KD, Steph Curry, etc.
Everyone likes to play differently, so whatever keeps you most interested and gives you the msot enjoyment is how you should play though.

I decided to move the Brooklyn Nets to Seattle and used the existing team name Rainmakers. Picture quality isn't great but you get the drift! I made so many changes to the roster before the season started that I can't even name them all. I essentially traded any high salaries for whatever I could get in return whether it was picks or players. Below are the players from the original roster still left with the team.

PG - Isaiah Whitehead, Spencer Dinwiddie
SG - Sean Kilpatrick, Archie Goodwin
SF - Caris LeVert
PF - Quincy Acy
C - Justin Hamilton

I currently have $58M in cap space which will increase for the 2017-18 season. My starters and backups...

The team is pretty terrible but I'm currently 3-10 and 13th in the East (I'll be moving them to the West during the offseason). I'm only playing a 29 game season with 6 min quarters, scaling to 12 min stats. Using a slightly toned down version of Eggie25's sliders.
