    HDR in retail release

As said above go to rtings.com to view if your TV fully supports HDR and what settings they recommend for your TV.

The new Vizio P series has one of the lowest (i.e. Best) input lag readings for gaming, but I think you have to use the HDMI 5 port on the TV to get those results.

Yea I had that tv and returned it and kept the Samsung ks8000. The vizio is low input lag for SDR gaming at 17ms and that's only on HDMI #5. Sadly HDMI port 5 doesn't allow HDR and the other ports 1-4 is 34ms for SDR and 65ms for HDR gaming which was unacceptable to me. On AVS forums all are complaining that HDR games are looking washed out and bad. Looks like vizio's HDR 10 update wasn't good.

This HDR patch not being released sucks wish 2k would at least give us a little insight on when we can expect it.

2k looks better in non HDR mode. my opinion they just added this last minute for marketing purposes.

My settings look decent. I use movie mode. I have backlight:20, brightness:40, contrast:100, sharpness:100,and color:70. I have most filters off. Motion is set at 3 for blur. I have smart led set to high. HDMI black level is set to auto. Color tone is standard. I don't like warm1 or warm2. Gamma is set to 3. I don't notice any lag without game mode enabled. Let me know what u think of it

I got to see it for myself, but I see mixed reviews depending on peoples settings, But I cant state my opinion until this patch is released.

Wooo! Sharpness should be at 0, color at 50, brightness 45, color tone warm 1 and must have game more on. Leave gamma at the center. Your setting are terrible man sorry lol.. and Game mode is a must. Without it you're looking at 100ms of input lag. Sharpness should always be at zero especially for HD content. Sharpness at 100 makes the picture look bad.

I agree with what you're saying 100%, most of the time that would apply but for some reason with HDR mode enabled and in movie mode/non game mode...that these settings seem to look the best and I've tried many different combinations to see the differences and this seems to be really good on the Samsung KS8000 model. Samsung tvs especially this make and model are supposed to have the best lag response time even in non game mode with HDR active....its nowhere near 100ms of input lag. It would definitely be noticeable. There does however tend to be a lot of blurryness during replays and cutaways in game....I used blur reduction and that helped a lot though.

113.5ms outside gamemode. That's very bad and unplayable in FPS or games like MLB the show.
