Ok here we go again. Also again let me say that I'm playing on the PC...So watch Thompson do this automatic "comeback cheese" rebound. This is very ugly and unprofessional for a team like 2k to not see these things. Yes their using the same coding in the gameplay where the comebacks are outlandish lol.....

Play the Clippers. CP3 was throwing hella lobs lol.

I agree though, I've barely seen any outside of that game.

I swear The Prelude didn't feel this sluggish playing Defence!! I mean between the slow reaction of players, to the 4 seconds to come to a complete stop it's ridiculous. This pretty much sums up playing defence in 2K17. I believe others have stated earlier that a new engine needs to be implemented to understand movement and foot planting a lot better, hope that engine comes sooner than later

I just love it when cpu bumps you your player picks up dribble and can't dribble again BUT when you bump cpu they pick up dribble and can dribble again.

Swishes...swishes everywhere!

I know I've mentioned this before, and also last year. But the amount of swishes in the game is way too high, and take away from some of the realism. There needs to be more ball/rim interaction.

But THE worst, BY FAR, is the amount of close shots/layups that are banked, and then swished. It's backboard, then nothing but net 90% of the time on those shots.

Even on and-1's it happens all the time.

Hopefully this can be tuned down. Not only does it hurt the immersion a little, but it just takes away the guess work of "is the ball going in or not"..."am I gonna be able to rebound this, or not".

Ive seen alot of charges taken by the CPU. Ive also seen a bunch of offensive 3 second calls. I haven't seen any defensive 3 seconds and zero moving screen fouls.

Re: cpu charges, have you changed any settings that might affect that? Like charge taken tendency (for each player), or cpu defense sliders (awareness, consistency, etc.)? I plan on upping the charge tendency but haven't done it yet.

And again, probably repeating myself I know but I mean charges where an AI player actually gets in a charge stance. I have seen a few offensive fouls on dribblers who sort of extend an arm or push off coming past half court for example, but no charges taken by AI on like drives to the hole and set up for a traditional charge.

Same here. It was like that last year also. What I did in 2k16 was up the throw alley tendency for PGs and some distributing SGs (there are some surprisingly low numbers for those) and receive alley for athletic bigs etc. It drastically increased the alleys i saw. I have yet to try it this year, but planning on doing so and I anticipate it will help again.

Am I the only one having issue with the CPU's on-ball defense? It's like every player is Tony Allen on 'roids.

I'm even adjusting the body up, lateral quickness and on ball sliders.

I wanna be able to turn the corner on a guy and rive to the hole. But it's dang near impossible.

I just had Zach Randolph shut down my PG on the perimeter. Time after time. Absolutely crazy.

Thanks, I'll try that, tho I think I tried everything.

I wanna be able to drive baseline with Jabari (one of his strengths in real life) like I could last year. But this year the defender either locks him down, cuts him off, or if I do manage to get past them with dribble moves, they'll strip me of the ball and it'll go into that animation where the ball goes out of bounds.

I don't know if the CPU on-ball defense needs to be toned down, or if the ball handlers need more explosiveness off the stop.

I think a combination of both.

This is funny because i play as the raptors and it was my game against the clippers that made me realize i haven't seen any alley oops yet. The clippers didn't try any but maybe thats because the shooters were open for three all day lol i dunno. Just an observation i had not a big deal.

Default everything but after reading your reply i can say ive seen alot of dribbling bump type charges but zero plant and knock over ones. So not what you would like
