How often does it happen?

I've only seen it a handful of times with teams that have REALLY fast guards. If you're playing a halfcourt set it shouldn't be happening that often.

All the time.

Never the CPU PG. always the CPU PF or C.

Or they'll sprint up the court and have a wide open corner 3.

This is a very common issue I believe from reading posts.

What I've had to learn to do is as soon as I make a basket. I immediately switch to my PG using the LB(XB1).

Problem seems to be that depending on the camera angle you use(I use Beluba or broadcast) you can't see the C running up the court to get in the right positions. Switching to the PG alleviates this problem just a tad. I still get caught off guard every so often. This is the only type of CPU cheese I see. They seem to push the ball so fast that if anyone is out of positions its a wide open J or layup.

I'll try it but it needs to be addressed. It's cheese for sure because it's easy buckets for them and you can't stop it.

How do you do change shot layups this year? It never seems to work for me anymore because of the layup meter

When you are close to the basket or running to the basket double tap triangle (PS4) or Y (Xbox). I'm a Center and that's how I unlocked the lob finisher.

I do this aswell (switch to the PG immediately) but still see my C/PF get beat for layups.....after scores aswell. Not a LOT, but enough times to annoy me.

It's like the offensive AI is so advanced and it's become self aware (Skynet type situation haha). I just want the AI to relax a little and not have me fearing annoying, helpless situations all game long.

Something off putting about it, yet I can't stop playing/trying to figure it out/beat it.

Absolutely kills my enjoyment when the CPU has a clear advantage in this area. This plagued 2K16 for me.

Such a shame.... the game is visually beautiful at times that I want to play it. But man, it's just annoying me with some of this silly stuff.

I agree. I feel like I spend half the game mashing buttons trying to exit cutscenes. The presentation elements are great but sometimes I just want to play the game instead of watch. The time it takes to get through a timeout is excessive when you have to watch a cutscene before and after sub.

Hello, can someone please tell me how to trigger the roll animation while playing as the screener? I'm playing my first Center MyCareer.

Also, any tips on how to/when to attempt put back dunks/tips?

I usually have mine on manual so LT/L2 is the way to go this year?
