After listening to any of these songs 50 times you'll learn to love them lol.

I actually don't mind any game soundtrack for that matter. They usually put me up on more music that I otherwise wouldn't have cared about.

For instance, I'm growing fond of that Imagine Dragons song, that Stokeswood song, Sam Sparro and a few others I had no idea exsisted.

I wouldn't pick up a baseball game or hockey game and expect "my" type of music so I don't see what all the hubbub is about.

The commercial rap as a whole seems so lazy and uninspired to me nowadays. I may just be turning into that old man, but I preferred in other games when they used underground artists or throwback artists. The new hip hop (if you can even call it such) is like a bunch of supposedly clever lines, but it's really not. I feel like there should be a middle ground where they use songs from multiple eras like how 2K14 was.

Man, like someone mentioned earlier, I used to love the days when they used alot of underground artist like Atmosphere and the Cool Kids. Found a lot of gems and became a new fan to a few.

They still put a song on there that doesn't exist anywhere else(Bands - White Dave), which is easily my fav. It's no 2k11. But its a solid combination

Because some Americans love "slow, auto tune rubbish and elevator music."

I don't care for Drake's music, but it doesn't bother me much on a video game. I actually don't even know which track is whos. Didn't read the entire thread, but I guess I'm the only one that actually likes 2k soundtrack, this year is no different. Not really my type of music that I listen to by choice, but I find it comforting for when I'm scrolling through 2k's menu.

Really wish they'd put Triumph by Wu Tang Clan (a.k.a the best group rap song of all time) as a throwback on one of these games...

If they are gonna add old songs, they should bring back pennies by Cool Kids on 2k9!!

I actually think this year's music is some of the best we've had. Can't please everybody I suppose.

I think the soundtrack is not that bad either. Some track are in there that could fit in the FIFA series from EA Sports for example, which i quite like. It's simply a good mix of almost everything. Furthermore, you can deactivate songs you don't like. And if you don't like any of the songs, deactivate everything and run Spotify or something similar next to you lol.

What's actually bad is that you cannot import your own music into the game. Does anyone know why 2k won't implementate such a feature? I'm playing since 2k10 and never have i seen such an option.

Right on. Triumph is a classic track and would be a perfect fit for 2k.

I really like the Stokeswood song ('Forget'). Definitely the best song on the game. The Moth and The Flame song ('Red Flag') is really good too.
