Did we ever receive ANY official communication on defensive rotations not working properly, or was it just glossed over with tweaking shooting sliders and MyPark events?

The amount of games players just randomly helping off their assigned man even when set to Tight/Tight or Smother settings has happen is still as high as ever, and it's gotten even worse now that people have figured out how to exploit big to big passing with manual cuts into the paint - your AI teammates will ALWAYS collapse and leave someone who is a deadeye shooter open.

It's the biggest black mark on this game and has remained that way ever since with absolutely zero acknowledgement from the designers.

Also the STUPID double teams They double team everytime and I get a easy assist everytime, this game is unplayable

The problem with double teams is not only how predictable they are and which defender is selected to be the second guy, but in general a double team is not going to be very effective in a game where the user has a pulled-back camera view to be able to see it coming and make a simple pass to the open man.

In real life, you typically don't see a double coming until both defenders are on top of you, and by then you can't see anything.

They need to improve the logic of where to double team and which defender to select as the second man, make that defender come harder (seems like they just jog over, which gives more time to pass out of it), and once the double is established, make it more effective (poking the ball away, jump balls, or just harder to pass out of).

Hey you know what maybe some kind of vision cone could make things more realistic. It would make passing and working out of the P&R much more realistic and separate those guys with good court vision from the guys with not so good vision. Then When the double comes just shrink the vision cone depending on how good a player is at dealing with a double team. I think that would be great if 2K could look into this.
