I think it did go in this morning. I've been playing Walk On all morning, and I no longer feel cheated on everything that isn't a green release. It feels more balanced, with a better mix of makes and misses while a lot of good looks being rewarded more often than not.Comment

Mind you this is only with a 34 rating for 3pt shooting, which I've never upgraded. My badges that activated were bronze 'catch and shoot' and 'corner specialist'. The pass was from my friend who is a shot creator with bronze 'dimer' badge.
How is this even possible still? I shouldn't even be able to hit 3pt shots with only a 34 attribute rating for 3. I shot with the button too and not the RS shooting where you get a boost. The badges, shot timing, and sliders are that overpowering for shooting that it totally ignores the most important part of the equation - the attribute ratings?
I don't get how things can still be so unbalanced for shooting. People have mentioned about glass cleaners and other builds are even having a high success rate shooting 3's if their open. It honestly doesn't suprise me if they max out their 3pt rating, even if it's only in the 60-70's with the crazy offensive badges and easy shot timing, their going to have a lot of success. This year the shot success for all the builds just went completely overboard IMO.
I hope you'll look into this some more because it's ridiculous. Even if someone has a good shot rating it shouldn't be a guaranteed make either if their open. My mid range rating is a 74 and if I'm open for a mid range shot it's pretty much guaranteed that it's going in because it's so easy to get perfect green release shots. It's simply arcade basketball. Things need to be more balanced and realistic than how they are right now online.Comment

Mike, be prepared to be suprised. I just hit another corner 3pt shot with my Paint Protector center in ProAm. I rarely shoot 3's but I have a few times now only because I'm pulled further back on the pass animation, so I end up going behind the 3pt line.

Great post. One of my friends in our MLO keeps raining threes with Olynk like he's under the rim even himself is totally bothered the shots he keeps making like crazy so i think some deeper stuff is broken with shooting this year other than % success adjusting. How have we really gotten back to 2k15 ?smh.
We play HOF/HOF MLO 12mn btw.
Ps: I know Olynk can shoot what i mean here is he's like Steph calibre.

No offense on all the threaders here but I think 2k will never get the game right due to different requests, of different players, of different modes, on every patch/tuning. On one patch, some would complain on shooting difficulty. On another patch, some would complain on shooting explosiveness. Or the defense is too tight or too light. Some would want their green releases, some would think that green releases are glitch. I think each one should adjust their own sliders to their needed gameplay. If you want a more challenging opponent, up the CPU'S defense. If you want to be a dribbling professor, adjust your dribbling numbers. I'm not happy with the out of the box gameplay, so I experimented on different sliders from ps4, til I had my best games (win or lose). Not the perfect / realistic basketball game, but it sure can bring out the player in us.Comment

Definitely agree on you on that one sir. That's when I started to use user timing without the shot meter (which i'm really appreciating right now). Most of the concerns i've read on shot meter are "100% full but it didn't get in, but a 75% full made it" or "what did the patch do to green releases? At first it's easy to green, then I can't green it anymore?" I guess i'm appreciating basketball more if I focus on different releases of different players than focusing on different shot meter greenies. It's harder, but more life-like. Just saying sir.Comment
