    Tyler Ulis: Shot-Blocker

There's still a HUGE issue with the shot-blocking:

    1. Timing doesn't matter enough, guys frequently get blocks get blocks on the way down.

    2. Ratings don't matter enough.

    3. The chase-down animation may not run as much but out-of-position blocks that should be rare are as bad as last year.

    4. There are other options for guys non-shot blockers (strip comes to mind)....they have to be punished for ignoring their limitations the same way Dwight Howard spotting up from 3pt land would be.

I'm done until this and a few other issues (passing, post defenders) are resolved. Nothing personal...no "I'm never buying this game again"...just not what I signed up for.

    ENJOY. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NfUhsCXIjg

Looks like a good block to me, you just got a crap animation

Cant agree on this one. I don't see many improper blocks at all. You probably get punished more than you should for a jumping contest in the first place. I would understand taking issue with the animation though...

I don't agree with the OP. I think that was a legit block. And blocking looks good to me 90% of the time they happen in the game. It is much much better than last year.

90% of a shot-block is WHO...Tyler Ulis is 5'9"....his block rating is 27. It not in his skill-set. Calling the block ok is ok'ing stuff ANTI a players skillset...its literally the same as being OK with Dwight Howard going 6-6 from 3pt range--there's no difference.

So the ball should just go thru his arm then?

Also some centers have 20-35 speed, so that means they shouldn't be able to walk either huh?

What about sergio and your input to how you finish and ofcourse how it's processed to animate on offense. All these in that consequence can lead to this outcome. With the right amount of force to the right place at the right time you can break anything you know smt like that. 27 is not 0 as well 5.9 is not 0 either. He's not blocking Dwight, sergio and him are equals on physics level. And this situation can't happen 6 out of 6 times neither can Dwight make 6 made 3pt shots so, i don't see it as a problem. I've had so many games and never seen smt like this. Something so rare can happen any given day.

Sorry, agree to disagree, that's just my 2 cents.

It's evident people are just searching for something to come in here and make a thread about......geez this is getting silly

I dont see a problem with that block.

My only concern about blocking this year is that CPU shot blockers sometimes seem more concerned about sticking to their man than trying to block shots.

i actually really dislike the animation. i know its something thats happened before as evidence by the video but it triggers more than it ever should in the game.

as far as the block or defend issue, help defense in general is a wreck right now and the defends are always doing something wrong
