    Strictly an offline player here, play on hall of fame. Computer seems to be missing more shots, close range and from three. I've only played one game, but I've never gotten three blocks in a row down low before, could be luck, could be the patch.

    Also using the spurs in an exhibition game, seems like my freelance is setting up quicker than before. Full disclosure, I never ever use the spurs so maybe their team is just that much better than other teams I use.

    Want to make sure it's not placebo but a couple things that stood out..

    -I was able to get past my defender with tony Parker like 4 times in the first half whereas before I feel like I would always get caught in the contact animation.

    -freelance has been setting up quicker for me, not sure if that has to do with the spurs or not

    -I am getting a ton of steals that aren't controlled by a user player

    -shot meter seems to be quicker, more noticeable on foul shots, I missed two in a row with Danny green and my meter was close to full


    - computer wide open threes weren't automatic


    Like I said, only one game, but things like me getting past my defender and having multiple blocks down low were very very rare before so I think some tweaking has been done.

      I've been getting less greens on park. Besides that, noticed nothing new. Old town still lags like balls, and there are no noving screens called.

        More offline NBA game impressions please. LOTS of variables in regard to user play; what are you seeing from the CPU.

            Just to add to my previous post, shooting percentages are absolutely lower than pre patch. Again, I'm an offline player only and was shooting 60 plus percent before the patch. I'm playing against the warriors right now and I'm shooting 38 percent at halftime. Couldn't be happier about it.

            I think they toned down the fouls and blocks are more frequent instead as well.

              In line with what I experienced so far, same on HOF. Basically:

              - Lower shot success rate both contested and wide open. CPU moving difficult shots are less accurate. Not sure about human since I play center.

              - CPU defense is less intense.

              Another thing is my block number is increasing noticeably. And due to lower shot success rate, my rebounding is going up as well.

              Issues about body-body & ball-body collision seems to be the same... CPU can still rip through my teammate chest from behind to grab the ball... smh

              Double team seems to be the same. As a center, CPU do not double team when I am in normal stance. As soon as I switch to post up position (L2), no matter where I am, even at 3pt line, they still double team me.

                I have played a couple of games of allstar team-up since the patch and have noticed some significant changes.

                The overall speed of the players when not turboing feels like it has increased akin to the game at release.
                You can move faster defensively, HOWEVER there seems to be some serious issues. The worst being that you easily get stuck on random players when they are not setting screens even worse then before. This was very frustrating for me as I saw my player almost running in place a couple times and could net get through to contest. Holding the LT/L2 on D has some negative effects to movement. A lot of times it works well if you beat someone to the spot and body them up. However if you try to slide in the defensive stance when out of position it is really wonky and at times stopped my player from being able to recover. Lastly for D i noticed that the offensive player could slide by me many times even when in position as the triggered animations have been toned down. Now that could be a good thing at times but it was frustrating when having great position and then pushing intense D just to see them go by. I am a good on ball defender and noticed it to be more difficult to d up and consistently get good contests.

                Offensively some things were equally frustrating. It seems that shooting was turnt-up, at least in that mode. Dudes were hitting everything open from the perimeter and seemingly a bit more decently contested shots. More frustratingly though was that the layups seem to be turnt-down. One game I used 87 Magic Johnson who has a very high layup rating and just couldn't get anything to drop if there was even minimum contact. I don't really understand why layups were tuned, especially with less effectiveness. Unless they changed the release point and I didn't realize. However I saw a couple of times that the meter showed just a hair under green and still missed. This against Kyrie as well who has low defensive ratings. Also they have added a new blocking from behind animation where I thought I would have the advantage on the break being in front and got denied. Still seems to be the catch up boost or separation nerf.

                I was really hoping for livelier ball physics but that was not the case. The behind the back or spin move will still trigger a lost ball situation if miss-timed in traffic like before but dudes were still dribbling through my body or into my chest and not losing control. Frustrating as they would do that and then get by breaking the D. I would not mind the sliding by of the players if when I play great position and predict what they want to do I can free up the ball or get the steal. This is never the case though. A player can still be reckless with the ball and dribble right into or through you at times.

                So far I am unimpressed. The speed feels much better with much more freedom of movement which I really enjoy but the other issues significantly hinder the game in my opinion. Again this is only after a few games so other's experiences could be different. Also after the last patch there was tune to follow that smoothed out the gameplay a lot. This patch really needs that to happen.

                  Here are my questions if anyone would be so kind to answer..

                  1. Have pass speeds been slowed down since the last patch? I thought pass speeds were excellent pre-patch, and the only thing they needed to remove was that slow overhead pass animation.

                  2. How is defensive awareness? Are AI defenders still losing their man under the basket, allowing for easy points in the paint for the CPU..

                  3. Has the CPU sticky/"bumper car" defense been eliminated? Or at the very least been toned down..

                  4. Do plays and freelances set up and run quicker?

                  5. Does the CPU still constantly leave their man wide open to double team an offensive player? (Warriors users should know exactly what I mean)

                  6. Do ACE adjustments stick?

                  7. Have the defensive issues been fixed? (Pick and roll defense)

                              As for freelances, after two and a half games I feel they are setting up quicker. I think what's happening is they're triggering quicker than before. I used to struggle once in a while to get that first branch triggered, but in these past two games it hasn't been as frequent.

                              It's still such a small sample size so I don't want to say it's definite, but the initial trigger of the freelance seems easier to me.
