What bothers me the most is the silence like the devs on Twitter don't even mention the game let alone speak on the patch it's like everybody's been Sworn to Silence regarding 2K17 this year and beds literally hasn't mentioned the game once since it came out I don't think

Pure speculation, but I beleive it's because it was rejected, in which case they would be buried in work. I havent played 2k in weeks which is crazy for me to be saying in October...but I'm not even sweating the patch at this point. It has allowed me to check some other games out, lol

Sucks though...I know for a lot of people its the only game they get this time of year.

Why the holdout, 24? You're mainly a PNO player - is that mode troubling your experience or you just taking a general break from hooping?

TBH me being away from the game for nearly a month is what's making it a lot easier to avoid pre-ordering next year. Every September I try to figure out how to juggle games, but hey, 2k has made it clear for years now that things don't get kicked off until November at the earliest. Meanwhile I've had a blast with NHL/FIFA and while those aren't perfect, they are a lot farther along.

My main mode played is Pro-AM/Walk-On and as it's been detailed, those modes aren't worth bothering with unless you want to rack up unwarranted losses or spend 30 minutes playing against a CPU half the time. I used to play offline/online leagues, but those don't really pique my interest anymore.

I'm as antsy as anyone waiting for this, but the more time passes, the more apathetic I get about this game...although I will admit I will be the first one to spend hours upon hours with it once it gets taken care of.

I have to admit I am absolutely shocked it isn't out today.

At this point next week for sure. Prob tuesday, just a guess tho.

I'm just curious as to what a 5 on 5 game in Pro-Am walk on will be like when this patch is released. I've yet to see all 10 players make it into a game without getting kicked at the start.

We've had good luck with our team as long as everyone clears their reserve space before loading in.

Others said this didn't work, but it has for us every time we've done it.

Also, load into ProAm walk-on from someone's MyCourt; not from Park. We ALWAYS get split when trying to load ProAm from Park.

Little bit of both....played a ridiculous amount of PNO games since the game dropped trying to get to GOAT....and I cant really find my groove offline....just a bit burnt out.

but if the patch is legit I'm all the way back in there...

The game is just not fun. Simple. I don't wanna play a game where bad basketball is rewarded and actual strategy is irrelevant.

2K should be on Sony/Microsoft day and night to try to get this patch released but it seems like they have no sense of urgency at all.

I have no inside knowledge or any way of knowing, but I'm guessing that since it appears the Steam patch was rejected, the console patches were also rejected and have/had to be re-submitted. Otherwise I truly believe it would've dropped this week.

Again, pure speculation. But in my mind, it helps explain the delay. I don't buy the delay being because of PS4 Pro and wanting to release next Thursday. Plenty of games have already released a "Pro" patch before it's even come out.
