I guarantee next year Agent and the rest of the cheese community will have vids up about exploit within the first week that 2K will have to patch.

The community destroyed this game, specifically the Youtubers and their followers. They will exploit anything and everything and make 2K patch working good gameplay mechanics into oblivion.

There will always be cheesers no matter what. Unlike 2k, most major game companies will fix their games when they notice a lot of cheesers doing something. Yes cheesers are annoying, but the question OP asked was if 2k delivered, and they didn't.

Games will never obliterate cheese. It's like whack a mole. 2K does a good job at whacking them (spin dunks, side to side), but there will always be some.

There are still money plays in Madden, and sweet spots on the ice in NHL.

I wouldn't say that 2k does a good job "whacking them", but i see what you're saying

Like the other poster said, it's ironic Agent is calling out 2K about stick skills when he's part of the problem. That's what I'm agreeing with.

Just don't act like it's skill that elevates you above other 2k players thereby giving you the right to bemoan a lack of a skills difference. That's all I'm saying.

One of the reasons why I quit my team was because they stated there would be no more locker codes for pink diamonds. I believed them.

Anyways, I don't think stick skills are ever going to matter in 2K. I cant see myself playing beyond 2k18 if thats the case. The equalizer is too blatant and it has come to the point where I can predict the sequence pf every game I play in any mode online.

Ok lol... still don't really get how it's ironic because he almost always talks about how he wants the game to be more skill based. Believe me when I say that agent isn't a cheeser. Yes he looks for jumpshots with the most green releases, because he wants his shots to go in lol? It's not his fault 2k made some jumpshots better than others. But he is definetly not a cheeser compared to most online players

Well I think he's aware that it's not skill that makes him better, he's said before that all you have to do to be a beast in MyPark is to max out your three point shooting and find a sexy jumpshot. I think that's why he wants the game to be more skill based, so it's not as simple as making a sexy jumpshot to bang threes at a 70% clip

But all he is a shooter! I actually think he comes across well and he definitely isn't like other 2k youtubers in that respect so I'm happy for us to politely agree to disagree.

He spams the step back move, and constantly dribbles around picks, I don't know what you call that bit I call someone that plays like that a cheeser.

                        I know this isn't basketball-related, but I do feel it's on-topic.

I recently found this video talking about fighting games, and how closing the skill gap has only made things worse for everyone. I thought you'd like to see it, because the 2K parallels should be clear.

lets just take a second to imagine how polished and realistic the gameplay (actual realistic sim nba basketball gameplay) would be if VC was never implemented...

I understand its importance and I understand how developed the industry has become, and VC is a natural thing to most games, but man...

And just to make myself clear, I aint bashing the devs or spitting negative stuff, just really a reflection about the way virtual currency, microtransactions and the video game economy affects sports games... I agree with most of the OP btw

                              This sucks for our generation.

When I was a kid I asked my mom for $50 to get Madden or whatever game and that was all I had to expect to spend. I remember when games that had DLC would often just give them to you for free, you just had to wait a month or two.

I feel bad for my kids. It will never be that simple for them.
