You said it yourself. A lot of guys make this promise and may really mean it but when you really like basketball and this is you only option sometimes it's hard not to give in on an impulse. If there was another choice guys probably wouldn't be breaking there promise so easily.

I skipped 2k14 for current gen and last gen because we couldn't block dunks in 2k13 and we had to use fixed myplayers for 2k14. The only time you'll see me on these threads next year is when I'm asking how the game is.

Unless select few people can confirm in December/January it's the goat 2k, then I'll get it
      ... But hey VC sale!!

lol I don't know about other people but I haven't bought the game for a while now, 15 was a gift from a friend hat wanted me to play with him, 16 was part of a gift basket for a 3v3 basketball tournament win and 17 was a birthday present from my brother who knows I'm a basketball fan. I'm gonna still play 18, but I'm not spending my money on it, because I'm a fan of the sport and because there's a slight glimmer of hope that 2K gets there act together and produces a good game like we've seen they're capable of. None of this changes the fact that 2K has a distinct lack of user autonomy when it comes to a lot of movements and actions on the court among a myriad of other things. That will not be changed by a few hundred people not buying the game, even then that doesn't absolve 2K from releasing a poor product...I mean 12 patches later and they still have major problems...unacceptable.
