    Good. I'm tired of every1 being able to shoot over 60% from 3 while also specializing at other areas of the game.

    Can't wait to test this out today lmao. I was already green light machine with my new jumper (which I was forced to find after previous shooting Nerf).

    I'm a stretch big so only thing im good at is shooting. I don't dunk on people like small sharpshooters and im slow with mediocre rebounding.

      If I get the game next year I'm turning off the internet connection immediately. I'm pretty much done with Pro Am and Park but these tweaks are messing with offline too.

        skills matter less with todays patch.

        I think in order to make this game perfect take half of what they did to shooting and apply it on both sides. perfect

          Lol not sure why people are crying about the tweaks happening during this time of the year. It's about to be May. Its better to find the right balance now than to face the maximum amount of tears from the millions of people playing at the start of next year's cycle.


          This is a step in the right direction I suppose. Should consider an extra nerf to LDD/Glass/AF/etc. if they're shooting the same standing 3% as playmakers and shot creators.

            2k changed something within the last week with inside shots. I've noticed with my paint protector C, along with my buddy who runs at the 4 with his paint protector, that we are getting less blocks and more foul calls on good contested shots.

                A big reason for this change was to bring the base shot percentage tables in line with the player ratings. So if you're playing with Real FG% or against the AI, the stats should reflect real life better. Before, high rated players were slightly underperforming, but worse, average players were shooting a higher % than they should have.

                And yes, I'm also slowly testing the waters for some bigger changes to come in 18.

                        For playing the CPU with Real Shooting % on - which levels sliders do you recommend for the correct shooting %?

                          Hey mike, i have a question. What about us glass cleaners, LDD, Athletic Finishers who have put in countless hours into Mycareer and have spent our time grinding for attribute upgrades to max out our 3 point columns and have worked on getting badges to be able to be reliable from the 3 point line what do you have to say to us? It takes roughly about 30-40 hours of gameplay to to get your myplayer up, this isnt even including loading times, watching the paul george screen while loading up, and working on getting your offensive consistency up. Why have the ability to put attributes on our 3 point attribute column if you plan on making all our hard work nerfed? Why exactly are you making the archetypes so strict as to only have one archetype have the ability to make consistent shots from three? In my honest opinion it was fine the way it was before patch 12. now with another tuning update, you've found a way to make everyone's Myplayers obsolete. Not everyone has the time, nor the funds to keep recreating Myplayers for every tuning update you guys choose to drop.

                          What happened to the poll results you posted on twitter? Why drop a tuning update on ratings when the majority of the polls said shooting was harder than what your staff thinks it is? Any insight and information on this would be greatly appreciated.

                              This isn't a simple answer but I'll try to give you the short version. All-Star is tuned to be the most "sim" for the AI... that is a straight 1-to-1 mapping of rating to %. Superstar and HoF are close but have slightly more exaggerated values for open vs. contested (higher than real life % if open, lower than real life % if covered.) So depending on your playstyle (and skill on defense), one person might have more realistic stats playing on All-Star, another Superstar, another HoF, etc. There's no one perfect difficulty setting for everyone. And really, to achieve perfect stats, there's a good chance you'll have to nudge some sliders.
