Looks to be improved. Comparing to my 2k16 pic below, the jersey in the new All Time team video seems to have better placement for both the Bulls writing and the jersey number.....

Also. Noticing that Rodman is also on the All time Spurs, I hope that they don't just use the 96 Rodman player model and hair, and instead either give him the "Demolition Man" blonde Mohawk look or just an all blonde, red or green hair.Comment

I get that he's one of the best rebounders of all time and makes a good addition to the Spurs team, but I'm kinda surprised they picked him for the Spurs given how his time with the team played out.

Sprewell for the All time Warriors should be bald or with short hair. Hoping that Sprewell got an upgrade anyway even his Minnesota player model. Especially with the inclusion of the 99 Knicks.Comment

1) Demolition Man
2) Solid Pink
3) Solid Yellow
4) Solid Green
I imagine our best bet is we'll get a solid yellow version on San Antonio... or whatever they used for Chicago copied on over.
As it stands, once you see them getting down to the Vinny Del Negros, Danny Greens, and old Robert Horrys of the world, I interpreted that as a sign that they were taking what they could get. In that case, Dennis Rodman fits. Things ended poorly and his stint was relatively brief, but he was an asset when he was engaged. And as a 90's Spurs fan, I'm kind of glad to see him on the roster just in terms of his iconic stature.

I concur (I feel like we may have discussed this in another thread). I imagine there will be little variation between players like Latrell and Dennis (same version copied in many cases). Anyway, for the sake of reference, I'd prefer:
1) Demolition Man
2) Solid Pink
3) Solid Yellow
4) Solid Green

Dennis is the perfect candidate to have a "progressive face" that changes from game to game (much like NBA live used to do in the late 90s). 2K have already implemented this type of progression (actually "randomness") with accessories for 2K18, and this is something that is certainly within reach given that 2K had this implemented in old gen.
They could start with Dennis as an experiment for 2K18, and then perhaps for the future implement more "progressive" faces for players who usually have variations in their hair (length, style) and facial hair (length, style). In the end, it consists of 1 main cyberface file with 4 or 5 extra sub-cyberfaces that work within modes, in some cases it will work in all game modes, in others it will only work for association, regular season or special career modes.
An example of a progressive face is Scottie Pippen as a Bull. He had a buzz cut and was clean shaven in his rookie season. From his rookie season up to the 1992 regular season he remained clean shaven and had a varying high top fade. From the 1992 playoffs to the 1993 finals, he alternated between clean shaven and a thin mustache. From 1994 to 1998, he alternated between clean shaven, thin mustache and goatee (and also had a mini afro look during 1995 and his first few games in 1998).Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
Hope Rodman has blue / pink / red / purple since he has blond and green w the Bulls, but that's nitpicking. With regards to Olajuwon and probably others, I seriously want to know how it's possible he looks WORSE than in 2k12, much worse actually! He looked great in 12, other classics as well and I get PS4 is different technology but shouldn't that give them more possibilities to make classics look BETTER?! They have a whole CAP system in which we can probably create a better look, so how come 2k can't? Also they should give MJ's 2k17 look, the cross eyed one, to Maxwell. The crazy eyes actually match better with his lookComment

Spoiler
- Shaq's face texture and model is really good. The only downside is that it's huge in relation to his body. His head isn't that big in real life.
- KG's face looks good too, but perhaps a little too old (for 2004) and his head a little too big.
- The muscle definition in both players is clearly noticeable when flexing, although Shaq looks more defined than KG when it should be the other way around.
Spoiler
- Chris Webber looks much older and a little zombie/pale looking (his skin is darker and his face should have a healthier/happier aspect).
Here's a good picture with his real skin tone:

Spoiler
- Where is Kendall Gill looking at? (a cheerleader on the sideline?) Isn't he supposed to be looking at the breakaway dunk of the player he was guarding?
- Too bad they didn't have time to update Scottie Pippen's face texture...Last edited by aloncho11; 08-28-2017, 11:12 AM.Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.Comment

Do you think we'll be able to edit and customize the player's size and body types so they're more accurate?

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
Based on the new video, they have severely and inexplicably butchered the 2004 Lakers.
Kobe's player model is bald and looks more like current Kobe
Karl Malone is the same player model from the All time Jazz team and has hair instead of a completely bald head.
Also the 91 Bulls, I guess? Even though Jordan is wearing Jordan 8s, look like they are using that horrible 91 Scottie Pippen player model instead of the improved 2k17 92 Dream Team Pippen player model. I also have yet to see Jordan stick his tongue out in any footage, and am starting to be concerned that it may be either removed as it was when 2k17 first shipped or that the strange "fix" that was added to it after release is still being used.
You are touting all this All time teams content and new classic teams but you are not making efforts towards authenticity. Especially when it comes to these easily acheived instances of accuracy. Such as giving Kobe from the 2004 Lakers the correct hair or Karl Malone a bald head. This means it is probably likely that Alonzo Mourning on the 2006 Heat is still inaccurate and has the 93 Hornets player model with hair instead of a bald head. It also likely means that 2006 Dwyane Wade is the same player model since the 2006 Heats inclusion in 2k16. Which looks much more like 2009 Wade than his actual appearance in 2006.
I'm pleased that Shaquile O Neals player models look to be improved but the All time teams trailer showed that Shaq's early superstar teammate, Penny Hardaway, looks to have the same player model that he has had since probably 2k14. Which is one of the worst least accurate player models and it goes untouched.
Honestly I'm grateful to 2k for the work they have put in, but man some of these inaccuracies are just glaring.Comment
