I still think KG needs to be skinnier. He always looks 'bulkier' in 2K than he was in real life. In real life, in his prime, he was something like a more muscular Durant (maybe one size bigger on the jersey/shorts).

Spoiler
- Shaq's face texture and model is really good. The only downside is that it's huge in relation to his body. His head isn't that big in real life.
- KG's face looks good too, but perhaps a little too old (for 2004) and his head a little too big.
- The muscle definition in both players is clearly noticeable when flexing, although Shaq looks more defined than KG when it should be the other way around.
Spoiler
- Chris Webber looks much older and a little zombie/pale looking (his skin is darker and his face should have a healthier/happier aspect).
Here's a good picture with his real skin tone:

Spoiler
- Where is Kendall Gill looking at? (a cheerleader on the sideline?) Isn't he supposed to be looking at the breakaway dunk of the player he was guarding?
- Too bad they didn't have time to update Scottie Pippen's face texture...Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
What video showed off the 2004 Lakers?
Based on the new video, they have severely and inexplicably butchered the 2004 Lakers.
Kobe's player model is bald and looks more like current Kobe
Karl Malone is the same player model from the All time Jazz team and has hair instead of a completely bald head.
Also the 91 Bulls, I guess? Even though Jordan is wearing Jordan 8s, look like they are using that horrible 91 Scottie Pippen player model instead of the improved 2k17 92 Dream Team Pippen player model. I also have yet to see Jordan stick his tongue out in any footage, and am starting to be concerned that it may be either removed as it was when 2k17 first shipped or that the strange "fix" that was added to it after release is still being used.
You are touting all this All time teams content and new classic teams but you are not making efforts towards authenticity. Especially when it comes to these easily acheived instances of accuracy. Such as giving Kobe from the 2004 Lakers the correct hair or Karl Malone a bald head. This means it is probably likely that Alonzo Mourning on the 2006 Heat is still inaccurate and has the 93 Hornets player model with hair instead of a bald head. It also likely means that 2006 Dwyane Wade is the same player model since the 2006 Heats inclusion in 2k16. Which looks much more like 2009 Wade than his actual appearance in 2006.
I'm pleased that Shaquile O Neals player models look to be improved but the All time teams trailer showed that Shaq's early superstar teammate, Penny Hardaway, looks to have the same player model that he has had since probably 2k14. Which is one of the worst least accurate player models and it goes untouched.
Honestly I'm grateful to 2k for the work they have put in, but man some of these inaccuracies are just glaring."I am American Mentally with Japanese Tendencies"Comment

One thing I'm noticing, too many people here have no idea how licensing works. Seeing too many people ask why can't they just have a wink and nod towards the player, it's as if people here do not understand that's why we don't have an NCAA football game anymore.
Not in this thread specifically, but noticing it around here...Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
The only thing a Ex Player has rights over giving out is their face likeness. Otherwise there's no reason why the Create a Player mode can't have pre made models that are the same height, weight, skin tone, hair/facial hair styles and body shapes in general to help the communities chances of making these players look as accurate as possible
The player also doesn't own their jump shots so 2k should be able to put as many from every era as possible so that we can apply them to the players we're trying to create.
The players may make these things famous during their careers but when it comes down to it they have no control over some fan getting their hair in that same style or looking to emulate those shots on their driveways/at the parks. So the video game should be no different.Comment

Looks like something out of Men In Black......what the hell is going on? The screen shot on the all time team looked on point, like they'd finally nailed him.
Wow. This.......this is BAD.-----------------------------------------

That said, we should also know by now that 2K's facial animations can sometimes result in really bizarre screenshots when you just grab a single frame. A lot of times they occur so quickly that you don't really notice the moment of oddity during gameplay. Is their a video from which this screenshot derived?Comment

I wouldn't go nutso just yet. From all the screenshots and videos we've see up to this point, Jordan appears to have been very improved.

But below is 2 examples (this MJ one and a Russell Westbrook example) which I think outline what a bad angle/facial expression can do.
But once again, I did feel obligated to share.Attached FilesComment

Apologies for the quality. Nokia 3210 screen rip.Attached FilesComment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
One positive, is that I saw a gameplay video (from the event yesterday) of the all-time Rockets vs all-time Raptors, and both T-Mac and Vince were wearing an elbow band. No more that ugly huge forearm band, finally. Not that we can't edit it, but maybe it shows some improvement accuracy-wise.My Specs:
