Great work updating the legends almost entirely accross the board! There are a few standouts that are a phenomenal likeness and a few that are still extremely off. Hopefully more updates to come. Especially hoping for a Vince Carter update on par with Rodman which I feel is the gold standard here in terms of likeness. Excellent work.Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
A lot of these faces coming out this year are what I imagined these players were going to look like in 2K14 on the next gen crossover. Crazy it's been that long but as I said in the case of the Dumars improvement last page, better late than never. Some of my favorite improvements:
Spoiler
Don't remember Scott being cross-eyed like this last year, nor Ainge. Regardless:
Someone finally put an end to Shaq's formerly never-ending forehead:
Couldn't tell if this was a new VC or not. I never hated the original but the one on the right has a more natural look, particularly in the eyes:
All that said, I didn't love all of them.
For one, I thought the new Gary Payton looked cool, but possibly too much like modern day Gary Payton, and perhaps a touch too light. A happy-medium between the 2K19 and 2K20 GP may have sufficed:
Also, Dennis Rodman's '89 version has long needed an overhaul but the overhaul he got aged him 10-20 years. His skin in 1989 more similarly matches what we see on the left but his features are more realistic on the right. Again, a hybrid may be most suitable:
A couple other so-so's: 80's Oakley saw an improvement (he was a 2K14 crossover relic) but the new version, like Rodman, appears to be the elder statesmen Oakley. Jason Kidd and Luke Walton both got hit by the old bug too.
I love the Pippen variants but there's something about the '89 version that feels off. It could be that his jaw is way too rounded and huge. He almost looks Native American. Also didn't love '94 Mutombo (again, seemingly huge, more rounded face for a guy that seemed to have more cornered features).
Even with the ones I'm not a fan of, we're still talking about these makeovers hitting at like a 95 percent success rate. Really great work.Last edited by VDusen04; 09-07-2019, 06:41 PM.Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
Can't tell if Vince got a slight upgrade or if it's just a result of the upgraded textures, lighting, skin tones, and more realistic eyes that pretty much everyone has... Either way I expected a bit more, after all they have a scan for him that wouldn't take much effort to transform into a perfect young version.Comment

Also apparently the Horace Grant from the All Time Bulls was done by R4zor and looks great in comparison to the very lackluster previous Horace Grant which is still used on the 95 Magic. Not sure if they use the new render for any of the Bulls teams though, but if someone could do a side by side comparison you would see what I mean. Compare the Horace Grant from the All time Bulls to the older player model used on the 95 Magic.Last edited by LeBronistheKing; 09-07-2019, 06:47 PM.Comment

Actually had a fair bit of fun with the 2003 Suns just now. Game's controls feel clunky at the moment and I'm mostly awful at breaking down defenders off the dribble but Marbury, Amare, Penny, Marion, and (created) Joe Johnson make for a pretty fun lineup.

I didn't notice this before, but Tony Allen is on the All-Time Grizzlies just not the classic teams. I don't think this was here originally. They removed JJJ from the team (thank you!). I don't think it was a mistake, but may want to save his player DNA just in case lolAttached FilesComment

Fellas, I'm pretty sure this hasn't been mentioned and I'm assuming it's recent because it wasn't in Brian Mazique's preview of the classic teams, but we've got a bald Zo on the '06 Heat!Comment
