Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
And the Classic Teams and Legends love continues. That's great and hopefully bodes well for them continuing to update the Classic Teams to make the player models more accurate to their appearance in that time period. There are more to do to be 100 percent accurate. Maybe someone could post pics for reference to those legends that need updating or tweaked (like how Zo has been) to be 100 percent accurate to their appearance on that team.Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
I'm still confused how the pre-game accessory color screen works. Here's my current conundrum:
When editing the 1991 Lakers, I noticed they do not have a blue color option for their leg accessories (as has been the case in the past). However, the 1991 Lakers do have a blue option in the pre-game accessory color menu. But clicking on blue will not change Magic Johnson's knee pads from purple (team color 2) to blue. There is no change.
I experimented by changing Johnson' pads to black in the Edit Player screen then tried adjusting in the team select but no dice.
Does the pre-game accessory color option not work for classic teams? Or am I likely doing something wrong?Comment

What color are your Lakers knee pads on in the player editor (aka what color are they by default)?Comment

Uniform Color 1 and in the accessory play now menu I can select yellow, purple, white, black or blue and they all workComment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
I wonder if Uniform Color 1 is the key to the accesory edit screen in the play now? Like if you edit say michael Jordan's upper body armband accessory to black in edit a player and then change the team accesories to red in the pre game accesory menu, will Jordan's armband stay black or turn red along with everyone elses? Haven't tried it yet myself. Would be interested to know.Comment

Here's how things worked for me:
1. Edited Magic Johnson's knee pads to Uniform Color 2 (purple): Unchangeable in pre-game
2. Edited Magic Johnson's knee pads to Black: Unchangeable in pre-game
3. Edited Magic Johnson's knee pads to Uniform Color 1: Color does change in pre-game accessory selectComment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
A lot of love was shown to classic players this year. Just wanted to note a couple more guys that could use some adjustments. Larry Johnson's body is the same as 2K19.
This is his player model pasted on top of a real image of LJ, you can notice the size difference. If someone could just add muscle mass/weight to his physique, and possibly adjust his arms to be longer it would go a long way in helping us feel his presence/recognize him in gameplay. Even just giving him Zion's body would help.
And this is not Shawn Bradley lol:
Besides the obvious body type inaccuracies and muscle mass, we need his wingspan to be long and accurate to at least take full advantage of his shot blocking abilities. Especially if someone purchases his card using VC. His arms seem short, stubby and really thick. Should be more like this:

Piggy backing off the body types, arm length and shoulder width are tied together.. which is a pain when trying to create players.. they body length slider changes nothing as well..

That in-game Shawn Bradley pic is hilarious.
Was literally just going through the 1993 Hornets and was thinking something similar regarding Larry Johnson. The slightly tougher body issue on that team might be Muggsy Bogues. Dude wasn't particularly thick per se but he had tree trunks for legs. Kind of looked like a little body builder. He appears pretty slight in 2K.Comment
