LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
I don’t have the game yet but was wondering if they fixed bodies. LJ bugged me so much last year. It felt right playing with him but he had the body of a guard. He had a pretty thick upper body.
This also shows how sturdy Mugsy was built.

Dude that looks way better! The player sculpting tools are clearly there, just a matter of time.
Yup, very unique physiques for both of them. Adds a lot more realism to the game when you can easily identify the unique body types. Larry Johnson's body looks too genericComment

2k19, but I also threw together a quick LJ to try and get a better physique for him.

Pretty bummed they didn’t add any new styles for hair and facial hair (although I doubt we would have seen new retro styles). At least they didn’t take anything out though. We didn’t need another step back like the 2k17>2k18 CAP when it came to legendsComment

Been playing with the 2016 Cavaliers, and noticed that when editing Kyrie Irving to change his sneakers to the correct Kyrie 2, that the Kyrie in the edit a player screen is the current Nets Kyrie player model with the longer hair. However when you play a game with the 2016 Cavaliers, the Kyrie player model looks correct and accurate to Kyrie's 2016 appearance, with the shorter cut. A strange thing, but I'm glad in game it's the correct Kyrie. They didn't bother giving Iman Shumpert his high top fade though, which is disappointing, and JR Smith should have a goatee instead of a beard. Other than that I'm having a blast playing with the 2016 team. Glad they were included!Comment

Yep. If you play with the 2016 Cavaliers, he has the short hair. Looks good and accurate for 2016 Kyrie. My only real huge gripe with the 2016 Cavaliers, aside from a few inaccuracies in player models, is that they did not include the black sleeved Cavaliers jerseys. I feel like that is such a glaring omission, sure they were alternate jerseys, but they wore them for two of the most historic moments in franchise and NBA history. Once in game 5 of the NBA Finals when both LeBron and Kyrie had 41 points to stave off elimination and again in game 7 when they completed the comeback from a three to one deficit and won the franchise it's first and only championship. It would be so much fun to recreate those moments against the 2016 Warriors in the proper jersey. Also they did not include their other Playoff road jersey which was the blue alternates.Comment

This is from 2K19 but it's the same package this year:

Really like the well deserved attention the historic players got this year. Hopefully some of the mistakes of players looking like an older version of themselves (Oakley, Rodman, Mullin, Payton, Horry, etc.) and others odd looking like Kemp, Ewing or Parish can get sorted out through eventual updates.
Also I found these two particular face builds as real food for thought:

Yes they do. His Lister Blister doesn't look quite like the real life version, but he still does a double point at the end. They also have his dunk contest near-free throw line dunk where he kicked his leg back like a hurdler; also the double-pump reverse from his rookie year against New York.
