I haven't see any of them in the draft classes yet, so maybe more guys are coming once its all updated. I really want some of those 80's/90's guys like kenny walker eddie johnson ect..Comment

LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
Lol.. so when 2K updated Dwight they also updated him on the All Time Magic.. smh as if the tats weren’t bad enough, now he has the wild hair. I can’t imagine there are roster people at 2K who are this poor at making sure things like that aren’t an issue. Maybe they just don’t have enough people delegated to their rosters.. but I can’t imagine me being able to submit work at my job that was constantly full of inaccuracies... I know it’s a video game and it’s not that serious, I’m usually the first to tell someone that here.. but these are things that are so easy to get right, I just can’t understand.
I mean how long does it take us to go through a roster and find something wrong? I remember when they reverted back to the bad Jerry Stackhouse model people here noticed immediately. If it’s something we can find within 2 minutes of looking at the rosters how on earth do they not have someone there that sees/knows these things?

I definitely think they lack resources. Look at how many legend players still have ps3 era models. They try to cover everything but it’s got to be brutal when gamers are demanding hair updates constantly. I say tweet that said something like “Do your job! Do what we pay you for!” I just think they’re spread way too thin.
The Dwight Howard goof is pretty bad though.

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
Really wish I had an answer for the head-scratching mistakes found in 2K's rosters. Even the most basic of 2k20 players could do a better job at simple edits, I feel. I know this is me being cynical but in the back of my mind I'm chalking up to some sort of planned obsolescence. 2K employees who overlook and concern themselves with offline stuff are specifically instructed to not give a s*** to make it easier to eventually scrap the whole damn thing and make next-gen strictly MC and MT. Overreaction possibly but I'm baffled. Of course I'd love to believe that 2K is conceding this year to prep for PS5 but it's hard not to be cynical about things getting worse.Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
It must be because of lack of resources. I believe they still have just the one guy in charge of the roster. He's taking more and more shortcuts. There is a whole list of the copy and paste player DNA of the "new" legends. Neglecting the historic draft classes and the lack of communication (at least it seems), between offline roster team and the MyTeam team is baffling.Comment

Re-living the 2004 Finals will probably get old some day, but not yet.
Ben handling Shaq's dab hook with great aplomb.
Also, knowing some sig shots and free throws have been removed, glad Rip's is still present.

I loved the 2004 finals and yet I always see it mentioned as a low point due to the pace and lack of offense. I really enjoyed it!

Was doing some quick accessory color testing when Shawn Kemp went full Shawn Kemp.
Then again, I also grew up watching Red Wings Stanley Cup hockey so I was accustomed to the tension of two teams scrapping for every single point/goal with a championship/cup on the line.Comment

What I find so funny in Basketball video game is that players do not follow the play with their eyes. They are looking everywhere but the ball. Kobe is about to dunk but nobody cares. Hamilton is looking so far away from the basket that is seems he is not even in the court. Shaq is being blocked, but Billups and Hamilton cannot tell what is happening with the ball. Ugly.Last edited by alecast; 12-25-2019, 10:53 PM.Comment

I know they can be created but I wish 2k would add in some classic courts. Old San Antonio Hemisphere, Seattle Coliseum, Meadowlands Arena,... I know they’re stretched thin though so I’m not expecting that though.
