Lol see this is where some of y'all lose me. Getting rid of an entire game over shoes you barely see/pay attention to during the game? Forget all the leaps they made for MyLeague all the great CAPs and rosters made for 2k17, the new classic teams they added and you got rid of it over some virtual shoes?

No shade, I just think thats a bit petty. However it's your money, so...

One thing of MANY that led me to trade in the game. It wasn't the 'deal breaker', but as a retro junkie, it definitely contributed. Authenticity is important to roster makers. Just seeing the trailers or gameplay with legends in the wrong shoes or generics drives me NUTS.

Anyhow, the trade in of the game was actually more to do with the removal of signature dribbles, removing the 76ers & the initial drop of Steve Nash and a host of other legends that I highly favoured. Coupled with the fact I didn't like the gameplay, it was a no brainer to get rid of it.

I've been merrily playing 2k16 for the last two years, and to be honest, it might stay that way again, judging by the 'classic' team reveals since the Heat & Knicks.

I think 2K used to have this but it'd be cool to see it return. For the 2008 Hornets, Ric Flair's "Woo" could be heard after Chris Paul scored.

Since the 02 Nets are in I hope they give JKidd his leg "wristband" he wore that season. Now that I'm thinking of it, Kobe' has worn one as well around that time.

I really hope 2k's all time teams have different player models for younger prime versions of various players. Like Orlando Magic Shaq being slim and athletic with the hair and Prime Wilt Chamberlain on the Warriors and Sixers.

This is crucial. They just can't use old Wilt's model to represent young Wilt. My biggest let down last year was when I spent all this time in MyTeam collecting the entire Suns roster of cards in order to unlock one of my favorite players, Connie Hawkins. Then I get Connie and his player model looks so generic with a short wingspan and unlike his unique body type.

The latest Kobe Bryant picture from 2K would seem to suggest that biceps bands could be returning (unless I'm looking at it wrong and it's actually on his elbow... I swear that it's above through).

In that case, Ben Wallace would be among those who could be looking a touch more authentic this year. Though if we wanted to get real picky, his were technically higher on the arm and dwarfed by the size of his biceps.





I think Bryant's is supposed to be matching his jersey color as well, depending upon what year he's supposed to be representing.

But why is older Kobe wearing young-Kobe's accessories (and it's supposed to be yellow for home and purple for road).

With 02 Nets confirmed, I wonder if they'll have Lucious Harris with the face mask. I dont remember at what point in the reason he started wearing it after an injury but he wore it for the rest of the season.

I'm confident they will because Scottie, MJ and some of the others did in 2k17.

The player models are definitely better for the classic players, but if I see old man Chamberlain on the Warriors and Sixers I will be highly disappointed. I'm hoping 2k would reveal the All-time Warriors team so we could see or even better a trailer.

I swear 2K had those one year but only in the re-issued blue colorway.



Also, I hate to be that guy but... Bakin. Though, Nike Air Bacons would have no doubt been incredible.
