Personally I wouldn't have had an issue with each player wearing their specific jersey from their time (on the same court).

Like when the All-Star game used to have each player wearing their own team jersey (1997 All-Star game was the first to do this - LOVED it).

Question: if Reggie Lewis is still in myteam, can we ask 2k to put him on alltime celtics instead of ray allen or another guy that we already have on other teams?

That would make sense to me. NOt sure why they'd even have anymore myteam players and not have them on the all time squads - most of them were essentially 'classic' players or legends.

Then the NBA realized that if they do a new All-Star jersey each year, they can sell them and make MORE money!

NBA is lacking money though..... so that's fair.....

This looks to be the case, as we have the all time Bulls picture with the squad wearing the standard Red away uni's, then the in game footage of MJ doing that lame *** celebration, wearing the black pinstripe alts.



I think we'll indeed get a choice of every uni from every era.

If this this case...and it makes complete sense... then it will completely unlock the ability to create multiple teams with the same retro jersey. With the rebrand system in 2K17 you could rebrand an 80's jersey but not edit it and upload. If we have all these jersey options we're hoping for, it would allow roster makers to have 2 retro sonic teams in the same MyLeague with short shorts. The amount of options would be limitless. Trying not to get my hopes up though. Lol.

Well, I totally understand the point when guys complain about all the complaining with regards to things like legend jerseys, accessories, signature moves, etc. It just REALLY seems like these aspects of the game would be easy to fix, especially when it's been in there before. So I am going ahead and making the claim that in spite of all the additions this year... we will have the right to be aggravated if they hamstring us with these jerseys.

100% agree.

It's a tough road for roster creators trying to get things as accurate as possible. I've been asking for adjustable short length and sock colour for years now. Seems a little bit of a waste to not have such things when they go as far as letting us rebrand and create players/teams etc - you'd think we could have the full package and have everything editable.

Tough to see the shorts from this capture....

That jersey looks improved from the 2k17 version that is available as an alternate for the 96 Bulls. Looks like better more accurate colors and the numbers and lettering look bigger and more accurate if I'm not mistaken and if I'm remembering 2k17 correctly. That's why I was hoping someone could do a comparison pic with the 96 alternates from 2k17 to see. Also if it is improved, hopefully that version is available for the 96 Bulls. Also, hopefully they did the same to the Orlando Magic alternates for the 95 team. The blue is completely the wrong shade and the numbers and lettering look small. I really hope they address this. It will be a little ridiculous if the 96 Bulls alternate pinstripes jerseys shown in the trailer are only available for All time Bulls teams and current Bulls team but not the 96 Bulls, who actually wore them.

They did exactly the same in 2k16 - The pinstripe alts were available for current teams, but not classic Bulls. I griped and moaned and bitched week after week until finally, they patched it in for the 96 Bulls. I'm not saying it was because of me, but I'd like think I had a hand in it, lol.

Not to be a stickler (though I guess this is what this thread is all about), but Grant Hill's jersey in the trailer was wavering way too close to powder blue. It's a little concerning because I thought 2K17 had very solid Bad Boys retros for the current team (and abominations for the actual '89 team). Now I don't know what to think.

Hate to say this but I wouldn't get my hopes up regarding signature moves...2k has said they have a new engine for player movement and more free form organic..moving away from animations..writing is on the wall. With that being said, still super excited to play with all the legends and feel it for myself with gameplay.

Right. Is the alternate pinstripes jersey shown in the video the same one from 2k16 to 2k17 or is it an improved version? Because it looks pretty good in the video.
