2k did a great job of giving the legends some attention this year. Still plenty that need work but I'm not complaining. It is weird when a player with an upgraded face is beside one with a PS3 face. Lol!!

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
I could definitely put in Vanns edits from last year, just have to wait til they patch the game cause there is a bug which won't let you add certain play types. The only 2 teams his edits probably wouldn't work for again this year are the Lakers and Cavs as the LeBron dynamic drastically changes there team strategiesI mostly just edit a roster for myself. This time around my first sweep is just fixing up the manageable stuff—accessories, shoes, names (i.e. changing the Bucks version of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to Lew Alcindor), rotations, and some of the more notable dunk and layup signatures (i.e giving Dominique Wilkins his Dominique Wilkins dunk package and making sure to get rid of the crazy dunks they keep on handing to Lindsey Hunter by default).
I do not really mess with the playbooks a whole lot so I'd be totally open to someone giving them a look and improving upon them.

Thought this was an awesome moment while testing some sliders tonight. Tongue out with the signature one handed dunk.

The tongue looks a lot more realistic this year, judging from that screenshot.
It really seems as though 2K's put someone on the case of squaring away legend details. I reckon there's a limit as to how much they can get done in a year but there's a lot of small improvements in this regard. Even a lot of the default accessories and signature dunks have slowly improved in accuracy over the past few years.Comment

I noticed that lower body accessories arent working when editing players, is it like this for most teams? i cant even change the sock length for players. Another thing that will hopefully get fixed.Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
I have not experienced that. Can you specify which players you're talking about? Classic players already included in the game? All-time teams? Created players?
I've had no issue with applying any kind of accessory I want. However, 2K19 has taken a small step backward this year with their classic team accessory colors. A lot of teams lost certain primary color options and others have seen some of their color options head in strange directions. Some examples:
1. 2004 Pistons headbands only have the color white as an option for home and road jerseys
2. 1996 Sonics have a Thunder orange accessory color option (Ervin Johnson is wearing an orange armband by default).
3. A few of the green teams, like the two classic Bucks squads, have green accessories that appear sort of oddly brighter than the team colors.
4. This is the first year in a while where the 1987 Lakers don't have a blue accessory option, only purple. Those Lakers, as many will remember, were largely a blue-accessoried squad.
5. Generally speaking, a lot of the "Uniform Team Color" options seem to default to white, as though something was reset during production.Comment

Latest roster update has the blue Lakers accessory color added. I noticed it today. Not sure about the others.I have not experienced that. Can you specify which players you're talking about? Classic players already included in the game? All-time teams? Created players?

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
I hate this world...
I'm already midway through my roster.
Edit: And looking through, it appears as though they fixed the Sonics' accessory colors too, and probably others. I'm happy to see things updated but really frustrated about not having access to them through my current roster. Pistons headbands are still all white though.
Edit 2: The short shorts issue is still there though ('89 Bulls are still wearing long shorts except for John Paxson for some reason). Guess I'll keep plugging away and wait to see if the shorts situation gets fixed some time down the road before I start over.Last edited by VDusen04; 09-23-2018, 08:49 PM.Comment

I've learned to wait until the start of the season before I really go crazy on my rosters. 2K seems to wait until then before they release any big patches or changes.I hate this world...

94 rockets are still off. It would be nice if they keep updating these things.

2K is the king of remove then bring back stuff as new. They removed Jordan's layup package and brought it back this year only to remove/change his free throw signature. It say Jordan free throw but it's not.Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
I understand them taking out animations for players they lost the rights to, but I will never understand them taking out long retired signature animations. They have so many different shot releases and bases, so I feel there is a perfect combination for every player jumpshot in the game at leastComment
